When my mate got back from his 6 month Thailand trip, he said he smoked thai stick everyday (about 6 years ago now). It's about the only smoke he hasn't complained about!

The usual UK Skunk is too strong and couch locky, and the soap bar mungs him out.

Thai - strung but not on the stick - quite cheap here in london - you get it moist and just right but once it dries out its shite!

Costs about £90 an o for the peng peng!

they seem to have gotten a lot bigger over time.

The ones I see from time to time are between 2 and 3 ounces each
I think you meant 2-3 grammes each. A two ounce thai-stock would be over a meter long. A 2-3 Meter Thai-Stick would be kinda difficult to carry around undetected....

Also, one thing to remember is that all Thai-Sticks have, and probably will always have, seeds. Imported grass growers usually grow it natuarally. (They usually get a pittance for their crop, so the marginal gain from, the helluva lot of extra work to grow sensi is not worth it to most of them.)

Any Sensi "Thai Sticks", if any, that you would find today, were likely made outside of Asia (i.e. weed grown in, or near, your local markets) and made into "Thai-sticks" in your local markets.

I agree wholeheartedly re: Pure Thai smoke, if grown and cured properly.
However, the same goes for some other types of grass like Jamaican, Vietnamese, Cambodian, and other IBL landrace weeds.

The problem is the versions of these grassses, found in CS's, were, often poorly grown, cured terribly, pressed into bricks and the resulting grass is not particularly impressive.

Also, yes Thai-sticks could be made using Cambodian (or Vietnamese or Loatian, etc) weed, but that was also true back in the 1970's when I first smoked thai-sticks. Cambodian, Laotian, and Vietmnamese grass can be as good or better than the best Thai grass. Indeed some of my best grass highs were from south-east asian grasses.

Finally, the "string" used to tie the Thai-Sticks, in the original thai-sticks is made from the cannabis plant (it has great fibre) and the center-piece stick, to which the buds are tied, is also made out of the cannabis plant. I have not seen a thai-stick, since the mid-80's, so they might not be made this way now.

I'm trying to read what you've written, but there are no commas, stops, or punctuationso I've run outta breath... you've forced me to sit back and sigh - then spark my scooby. For which I might add that I thank you for your bad command of English - i'm smoking a nice one thanks to you... kinda!

Please, what is the definition of IBL?

I know what a landrace is, but cannot find a definition for IBL. I have searched on this site and on google with no joy.

Thanks for any help.
