Let's end the Urban Myth of Cow Tipping once and for all shall we?

You wouldn't get close to one:
Cows have almost total 360 degree panoramic vision and are able to see colors, except red. They can detect odors up to 5 miles away. Cows can hear lower and higher frequencies better than humans.
The milk goes sour if a cow goes on it side:

HAHAHA now that was funny. So if you take a bottle of milk, and tilt it on its side, this will also go off then. Since all you are doing is taking a substance and altering the orientation of the containing body, the liquid inside hasn't turned over or anything, lol, it's a liquid. Here are some interesting facts though.
The temperature of milk when it leaves the body of a cow is 101 degrees Fahrenheit (36celsius). The milk is then quickly chilled and stored at a temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit (5 Celsius).
This is probably the breaker to the whole cow tipping thing:
Dispite popular belief, While cows may nap for short periods of time standing-up, prolonged sleep is always laying down in a prone position.
Horses, on the other hand, only lay down when they are ill.
and:
i am a 35 year old farmer and cow specialist and no cows do not sleep standing up it is physically impossible but they do stand still as if they were sleeping but they are not. they only sleep lieing down.
Just to prove you get some people who lie for the sake of it and/or are completely gullible:
Cows do sleep standing up as we have been cow tipping where i live but farmers disapprove of this…obviously because some of their stomachs get dislodged and must be moved back into place which is discomforting.

Here's one fact that other people don't believe me about. If you cut off a cats whiskers they fall over or at least become very unstable. Don't try it though cos it's evil.
Now I've had cats all my life and been a fosterer for the RSPCA, looking after pregnant queens and subsequently their kittens, until they are rehomed. I can categorically state, cats only use the whiskers to judge the width of their body, they use their tail for balance. If a cat's whiskers are cut off, on rare occassions, it can get stuck because it misjudged the gap, but generally it won't, they are pretty intelligent animals.

Sorry to go into such details, but this whole Cow tipping bollox really pisses me off, why lie?

The fact of the matter is, if you tried to go Cow Tipping, you wouldn't get near them because of the herd mentality, oh and cows don't 'sleep' like we do, they sleep, eat, sleep, eat, but do so for only short periods of time, not a full 8 hours like we do. In fact the average cow sleeps 14 times a day. (That's a bizarre fact I picked up. Who actually counted, lol)

Oh and the physics of it are also impossible unless you have at least 2.07 people and the cow does not resist, move or otherwise hinder you. This is from a timesonline article which debunked the myth sometime ago.

This must be why I couldn't get close enough before they all ran at me. So I am obliged to agree with you SoulRider. All the rest was probably very informative, but I was too baked to read it all. lol.

Haven't we all gone off topic a bit? lol

Ha ha ha ... Right from the first reply. However, they were all so funny that I decided to let the thread go where it wanted and not try to get it back on track.

Whoever said stoners had short term memory problems?
No really, I'm asking because I can't remember.
