Did Bulldog Palace in Leidsplein close?

I know this place is super touristy and doesn't have the best weed, but it has sentimental value. And they also sell really cheap pipes that I wanted to use for the few days I was there. I read somewhere that it got shut down because of proximity to a school, but I can't find an official statement anywhere. I'll be there at the end of this month and was wondering what was the story.

i heard the rookies has to close too. but dont they have till like 2011 to close?

no shops closing this year. and its not 100% sure which shops have to close....and nobody knows if they are allowed to reopen at a new location
