Rolling
Ok so here goes:
I cant roll and have never been able to, I dont smoke tobacco so dont really have any experience and none of my friends I hang around and chill with smoke, so no one to learn from "so to say", I know theres alot of instructional videos online but ive never found them to help, Im thinking the only way to learn is buy some baccy and skins and just practice and practice, so my question is does anyone have any tips for a complete novice?

Well When I was in amsterdam in august I bought cones and ground it up and filled the cones, but found it sooooo tedious, but had to as I much prefere smoking a joint/spliff what ever you wanna call it to a pipe, never tried a proper bong (only silly home made milk bottle type things in my younger days) or tried a vapo for that matter.

It took me ages to be able to roll a decent joint, and it came down to practice. You might find that rolling with the thicker types of paper is easier to begin with, so maybe practice using Rizla red or green, as opposed to the thinner blue or silver papers.
Also, I find loose tobacco (Golden Virginia, Drum, etc.) easier to roll than ciggarette tobacco.

It's same thing ... practice practice and practice.rks0 wrote: Also, I find loose tobacco (Golden Virginia, Drum, etc.) easier to roll than ciggarette tobacco.
A friend have only one arm (he losted the other in an accident), but with practice, he can roll as well as everybody.

After the acutal rolling many people find the tucking the paper in the difficult part, roll it so one side on the paper ( the nearest to you ) is higher than the back side of the paper ( furturest away from you.) Take the card and place up it just above the rolled herb and tobbacco mix, this should by now in a clinder shape. Place the card on the paper side facing towards you, above the herb mix press down quite firmly and roll up the card. This will help the tucking and although it may not be the tighest joint you'll ever roll it'll be a decent smokable doob.

it sure is easier to roll with loose tobacocco, as it is easier to "form" the baccy cone shaped inside the paper when rolling it.rks0 wrote:

but i think it is easier to roll with thin papers, like ocb slim, or ocb rolls, but i guess thats different from person to person !
if you want to try longer joints, i would advise you to roll them thin, and put a long filter tipp in it, that makes it easier imo!

I'd of said the complete opposite, I think it's easier to use slim ones as there isn't an excess of paper you have to mess with.CHELSEA_SMOKERS_SOCIETY wrote:a tip:
when you are learning/practicing use wider papers.
if you are buying rizla dont buy the 'slim' version. the wider the paper, the more room for 'manouvre' you have. once youve got it down, move onto to slim papers, as the less paper in the joint the better.
this isnt the best video .. but this shows what chelsea is talking about. in the video the dude has a L paper set up...CHELSEA_SMOKERS_SOCIETY wrote:a tip:

you can use the card for a 3 paper or even 1 paper.. or a king size paper..
i would say practice.. its not very hard to get used to.. and you will be very proud once you are able to roll a joint..
i would also recommend the card to get the "tuck" ..
' Smoke em if you got em '

PRACTISE THAT SHIT!
theres nothing more satisfying as smoking a joint you've rolled yourself especially after a hard days work!
I used to be completely terrible at rolling! I would roll the most haggard joints imagineable, but I put in the effort and I now roll better than anyone I know.
If you don't smoke tobacco like me, try to avoid it as there is all types of health problems there, but at first you should probably use it to practise, practise, practise!
If you still aren't getting anywhere .... BONG!
Much Love!
