Hash Quality at the Moment

Post by Worsall »

Was in DAM a few weeks ago and was disappointed in the Hash quality, an opinion shared by a local friend of mine.

I tried Isolator from Central (this was very good for €12 for 0.6g), Nepalese Pollen from Dampkring, Caramello from DeKuill, King Hassan from Utopia and the Parvati Cream I think from DeKuill but not sure.

Anyone got any suggestions for a top quality hash, as I am back in DAM for NY and really would like to smoke a top notch hash joint in Dam Square to celebrate?
:D

Have to say I agree with you, a lot of hash I picked up in Utrecht a few weeks ago was old and dry and didnt blow me away, which was dissapointing.

From the new Damkiring I got some of their Rifman range, Dalahi Alab I think it was called.

A very nice dark hash. Very physical and stony as well as being of the squidgy type, so you can easily roll it into thin sausages.

Worsall, try the hash at Green Place, it has had some good reviews and I'm loving the Caramello. Also, if you're interested in an evening sit-in we can head down to Basjoes and share a gram of terminator ;)

Funny enough a couple of weeks ago and the hash weren't that great.

the best we had was surprisingly from the 'Red Light Café' .... was pollen.

Thanks everyone I will try some of your recommendations and report back.

I have never visited the Green Place SoulRider – by the Niewmarkt I understand, will give it a try? Hope to see you NYE and we can expand the discussion, bring some hash along. I fly in to DAM on the morning of the 31st but will do my best to obtain some samples to compare with you?

DroolingLiver, I have not heard of the Dalahi Alab, did you mean Dalia?

You know I am not sure how the name was spelt. It may well have been Dalia, but I'm pretty certain there were two words in the name.

From the menus for Riffman Hash I've seen, it could be the Dalia. It certainly had the description of "intense body high", which it most certainly does do! The best buy of my last trip.

Hey Worsall, was great meeting you at the meet and greet last week, sorry for lack of conversation, I'm not usually so quiet- was mashed off my face :D

I'm sorry to say that I totally agree with your statement. I managed to purchase about 5 hashes out in Dam and only really smoked a joint of each. Due to the copious amounts I'd been smoking anyway was very hard to assess the quality as was already stoned.

BUT

I can often make a much more accurate assumption once I get home and start smoking. I managed to get all 5 types of hash back with me and last night alone smoked 3 spliffs and must say I was not too happy. Not sure if it was what I selected but usually even the cheap afghans get me stoned once I get back to UK!

Caramello - Green Place
Polm - Black Star
Fresh - Club Media
Libanese hash - Basjoe
Super maroc - Rastababy.

(Pics tomorrow)

Apart from Caramello which I am enjoying most over the others purely because of taste, everything else is below par :( . Anyone else have similar views?

I am not really a Hash smoker, but I do love the Caramello flavour. The only other hash I bought all trip was Terminator, but I think we ALL liked that ;)
