how much should i save (in US Dollars) if im planning a trip to dam this summer for 6 days does 2g's sound right?

including airfare id do $2500. less if you stay in a hostel and not a hotel.

i would say 3 G's if you want a really good time but thats my opinion

I am spending about 3 grand for myself when I come at the end of Feb. I spent like 800 for a ticket, gonna spend like 330 for a place to stay( I got some friends joining me so that helps with the cost of housing), I figure about 500 for herb, another 400 for RLD, and then another 350 for food. That would give a reserve of almost 600 dollars to do whatever with. Always nice to have a reserve for unexpected expenses.

yeah i dont think 2 grand is enough at all, especially in the summer when prices are higher, id say you need 3 g's to have an enjoyable trip and not be broke when u had back to shiphol.

Budget 100+ euros per day, plus hotel and airfare and you should be fine. the two biggest expenses will be weed and hash (and rld if u choose), so your budget really needs to be tailored to your smoking tolerence. Some people find a gram to be loads for a day and will take loads of lil bong hits from it, others could easily go through 7 grams.

Bubble and Ice hash's are expensive, so budget accordingly if you plan on buying some of these products.

Basically, its a hell of o lot easier if you have enough to have a few hundred spare,(no rule against taking it back home) and if it gets spent it no problem, than having to watch every euro. I've done backpacker trips and they're good fun, but 30-50 euros goes quick in a day. Its all about the luxury trips imo, especially if your from out of europe and won't get to come over to often.

I've also known mates of mine to get warts, crabs, herpes etc from A'dam hoes. IE- the diseases a condom won't protect against.

If yer really desperate, then go to a DVD cabin. Much cheaper and you leave with your self respect in tact (or so i'm told )
