6th Jan - My first trip for 2009!!

Well things are starting to warm up for me. Looks like our Pub trip is all go (at the mo). Hopefully there will be at least 30 of us hitting the ferry from Hull on Jan 5th, arriving into the ferry port on 6th Jan for a day of fun.

Getting all wet thinking which should be my first smoke of the year.. lol
Also gotta try and see if I can coax people away from the same route we have taken for the last couple of years. Show them a bit more of amsterdam.

Keep an eye out for the stumpy bloke with a goatee making perfect smokes with his rolling mat again!!

The person organizing our trip this year thought the other manager was sorting it so no one has got tickets booked for tomorrow the buggers!!!

Oh well, not all hope is lost, my better half has said she will stand in and and pretend to be 30.. (Bless her, she's only 5 foot tall) So she;s told me to book tickets for the ferry for us both, for tomorrw. The party is on!! yay.

Now to see if I can persuade her to stay an extra night...

Not that I'm greedy or anything... hehe

If anyone is interested the P&O Ferrys from Hull to Rotterdam are doing a 2 for one offer again. Including transfers to Central Station for 2 people its only £69. To stay an extra night they charge £20 and with one night acommodation in Dam for £63 we are looking at around £150 for the break...

Thats only £75 each... righty... got my pitch sorted... time to see if I can sell the full package to her.

hahah that sucks about the manager not really managing very well.

i always hate when that shit happens, and never fully trust any of my friends to actually pull through for me, so i normally end up doing the booking and organizing and all.. i guess it normally works out better that way anyway, at least my buddies tell me it does.

its also nice that you can go with your girl instead... im sure the spontanious trip will make some great memories for you two... enjoy the trip and play hard ball for that extra day!! you will be happy you did..
