Which area of dam has the most coffeshops? can anyone point me towards that area and hotels in/around it?

The ACD database is in a GoogleEarth file here:

It's a couple of years old so there may be some errors now. But, you'll get the idea.

Be prepared for Techno music, it seems to be :shock: EVERYWHERE. Techno is not my thing but I am developing a tolerence :roll:

I like the Centraal District, Grey Area, Abraxas and many others.

Willie's in Haarlem has EXCELLENT varieties and great prices, well worth the minimal train fare and time (20 minutes) to get there.
