Stayed here http://www.estherea.nl/, it's just round the corner from Kadinsky. My partner got sick with the COLD and stayed in bed, this left me with not much to do apart from get wrecked and wander around from CS 2 CS. Nearest was Kadinsky, then GA, then Tweede Kamer - with maybe a wander to Basjo for a Verdammper or 3, or over Nes for a beer or a walk to 420. Rusland was good as they've got a tabac smoking area downstairs and their Afghan was good, so I sat there for awhile, and as it's just down from Basjo who's Verdampers are as good as the Ice-O'later he has and he also has some raaather nice Buddha Cheese to go in the Vdamp. The road werks weren't outside Basjo's which made for a nice time.
Met some Polish people who'd come over for the New Year, from Slough (UK)
and I can't say I blame them. They'd jumped into a car, got the ferry money together and drove to the 'Dam, parked just down from Kadinsky and walked in, at which point we all met and I filled my pipe and we toked together.The only bummer about the trip was that 1 GBP (great british pound) got me 1 GBE (great big Euro)......so I forgot the cost, forgot my face and got blitzed instead, 10g of Afghan was around the 60 mark, that's cool as that was the hash that I wanted.
Missed MnG's (sorry SR) etc., but got some nice smoking time in
