Not to break this interesting thread, but ACD is back up, was just moving.
All these forums serve a purpose, so I don't understand the need for anamosity towards each other.
I have partied in A'Dam with people from Channels, ACD, and VDF, and gotten along well with all.

I had been a member of channels for quite some time; almost 10 years. I left that forum, a couple of years ago, because of all the childishness and BS that goes on there. It was a very good forum with tons of Mokum information, if you waded thru all the crap. There were some really nice folks that I met thru channels meet n greets. I havent been back to that forum for a couple of years.
