Just a quickie.

If you're planning to go to the dam or anywhere else that uses euro anytime soon then the best place on the market to change pounds to euros is www.travelex.co.uk u need to order online and collect at a branch. i got 1.02 euro to the pound on Tuesday (yes it sucks but its the best rate out there).

Dont know if its best for changing other currencies to euro though.

TT

:edit: Now getting 1.07 euro for the pound.... ''GUTTED''
Im £20 quid down now :(
Yea! totaly disgusting isnt it,I was gona do queensday but with parity i am gona leave my holiday now untill the cup week in november,Ps M & S does good deals on euros! check them out.

if you live in england try a nationwide flexaccount comission free use overseas and you find the exchange rate is like the visa business rate!

I almost always use these to get my Euro's sorted before hand, and then whilst I'm there, if I need to top up, I use my Nationwide debit and credit cards.

I found an old recept dated (nov -2007) where i changed 800 pounds over to 1065 euros :P,& last november i got a mere 800 euros for 700 pounds sterling :(,But on a brighter note it IS picking up a little now @ 1.10! it was near parity only 3-4 weeks ago so it is picking up or be it slowly.
