Why the Weed in A'Dam tastes no more like Flowers??

Hello,
me an 3 friends of mine were on a 3 days trip in Amsterdam. It was very nice and we had much fun. But one thing we couldnt believe...
why tastes the weed no more like flowers? its everywhere this strong smell and taste. in this days i found only the Bubble Kush from Bluebird, that has not this taste i said...
why???
but the hash was sooo good....i smoked Rifman Dalia from De Dampkring, so much aroma, real nice. but this Waterworks 60€/g was not that good as i expected
smell and taste was very nice, but the effect, hm, probably i should smoke less... 
Malana Cream and Nepalese Pollen was very good too. Both Dampkring. but the best dark i smoked was Kashmir from the Bluebird. the aroma for me was on the point, this was exactly what i looked for!

i smelled some weed before i bought it, but this strange taste i couldnt smell before. when we smoked weed, it was like lottery for us
