Avoid the street gear at all costs - worst ever. I wouldn't even class it as coke. Got done myself years back and even went back the following night as I didn't think it pssible to get a bad lot two nights in a row. Wrong.

Cab drivers are the best bet or better still, give that sh+t drug up.

On a recent trip I was being pestered by one of those guys to buy some cocaine - once I made it clear in no uncertain terms I wasn't interested he changed tact and asked me for a Euro to go to soup kitchen as he was hungry. I mean how many coke dealers need to beg for soup ?

When we travel on the 19th me and 4 friends are taking a bottle of liquid acid with 15 hits and my mates will probably be taking afew grams of ketamine, Personally i wont touch the stuff (k) ever again but each to their own. But If you want to do other drugs in amsterdam i would suggest taking them yourself but you should understand the risks involved.

we've gotten some of spme arabic looking youth, in the street before.

not the red light district crack heads, but some guy we got chatting to in a bar in leidseplein. he made some calls, he went off, met a friend, and then came back with it. £40 a g i think, whihc is the same as england, and he seemed to go to alot of trouble, to not make any profit himself.

it was very cut, the same qaulity as the crapper stuff you get in england, but did the trick.

thats the only one time weve done it out there.... i dont go there to do it, this was a special occasion, a couple of our group are big coke users, and we were all going on a lively beery evening so we thought sod it why not.

2 years ago i was waiting for a friend out side the cannabis collage...here comes 2 fellas asking if i want charlie...i said i dont know who charlie is..one of em grabbed my jacket and started yelling charlie in my face..well that only lasted a second,till i grabbed mr coke dealer back by his neck and pinned him to a wall...his friend ran away and i think coke dude pissed himself...i dropped him on the ground and explained i know no one named charlie and to leave me alone...he did..couldve been pick pocketers too, but why take a chance...jus sayin,please be careful..its a pot city...the coke could ruin yer trip...have fun

i was in the RLD and i got asked by a young black man if i wanted some good coke or ex and i just said no thank you and then i realized as he started walking further up the street that he was being tailed by three HUGE other dudes i think they work together to scam and rob people... im sure they would have jumped me the minute i got to a secluded area. I didnot even notice the other guys until one of them got a phone call and they all started talking to eachother....

Never bought coke in Dam, not going to either. Spliff is my drug of choice, followed by beer - so why ruin a perfectly good time by getting involved with the wrong kind of experience?

The very first time I went to Dam in 1988, the guy I was with was one of those people who always has to push the boundaries to the limit. Once we'd bought grass, it wasn't enough, he had to have sensi. Then he had to find top grade sensi, then it was acid... which involved street dealers. Man, did he p*ss me off with his running around chasing a drug that neither of us really needed to take.

Soon it became a habit - every shifty or dodgy looking dude that approched us, he had to try and do a deal. To be fair, most of the mechandise he procured was good quality, apart from the very first deal where he was ripped, and what he got he was able to sell on at a profit once we'd got home.

What wasn't good was the sort of dudes he insisted on hanging around with to get the merchandise... tres seedy. And it spoilt Dam for me, so much so that I didn't go back until 2000.

But, over that now

If a quarter of a quarter of a gram doesn’t make you feel like ‘the man or woman of the hour(s) for at least (the bare minimum) an hour and a half—then it wasn’t coke you bought (unless you use daily or every other day).
