i hate this place, sorry but my week spending here was really bad.

everything cost and it cost alot. if u want water to clean your hands it cost, if u want t shower, brush teeth, it cost.
the staff was very rude to us when we couldnt speak as good english as they.
I dont think it would be more expensve with a cheap hotelroom in dam rather than zeeburgh. all overpriced drinks and all extra costes for everything is to much.

we tried to be there as little as possible actually.

The nearest coffeeshop is the Stud in Niasstraat ( look on google map to find) it does a good deal on White Widdow, I would avoid the Polm tho. you buy at the door as it looks like a local's place for the sit down area but I think there is one you can sit down at just around the corner

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay there.
Your right it is a bit more expensive than it was ( the exchange rate is not so good as well which doesn't help) the showers do cost ( 80 cents )but the rest of the washing facilities are free ( though there is a charge for hot water ) and the bar prices I think have gone up it is 3.5 euro for a bottle of leffe now.
But you should have complained to the reception staff, they are usually multilingual if some staff had been rude to you.

Amazed you had a bad time... Is this your first stay in Amsterdam? I can assure you, you will not find anywhere cheaper to stay... I would pay 10 X the cost, simply for the laid back Amsterdam attitude/festival vibe that pervades the campsite. Priceless in my opinion and getting harder to find IMO. You don't need to drink in the bar, the supermarkets are always cheaper!

Don't want to come across rude but have you tried getting a 'cheap' hotel room in Amsterdam during high season? Re think your definition of expensive and rude!

I hope you had your ID handy m8? :D I wish I'd discovered amsterdam at a young age.

Bet feeding that duck whilst stoned was a surreal experience.

Man and duck feeding in harmony..

me and my girlffriend were in amsterdam three times and we stayed at camping zeeburg on every visit

our first trip was a weekend in september last year i think and we stayed in a tent at camping zeeburg

our second time we stayed there for a week (13.05-20.05) in a cabin and at our last visit we were in a wagonette, these new cabins for 5 days (25.06-29.06)

camping zeeburg is a lovely place, nice surroundings and freindly staff
will come back again!

if you want me to post some pics of a wagonette or a cabin, just say it and then i will upload two or three pics
