Baba Headshop: Opinions, Pleez

Post by drayman86 »

Would like to pick up a bong and pipe on my way to the Greenhouse Effect Hotel. Is this an acceptable shop?

Thanks!

i'd say check-in to your room first, never know there may be suitable utensils provided.from memory Baba headshop is pretty close to GHE but, you'd probably be able to find cheaper than Babas' with a bit of searching...guess it depends on how lazy/stoned you are.

Lazy, no. Stoned....uh....uh.....what was the question? :?:

Seriously, it's on the walk from Centraal Station to the hotel. Planned on checking in, hitting Baba, then hitting Hill Street Blues for my first shop. I'd likely just pick up an essential weekender at Baba's until I have a chance to look in other shops. Just wondering if Baba's is OK.

Baba is a good shop. The lady who works in there is very good, not had and dealings with any of the others though. They offer good advice, recommended. XConcious dreams is also a few doors earlier on the right habd side, I'd also recommend checking in there.

In a similar situation, staying at GHE and pretty much just curious as to what headshops you guys would highly recommend?

Looking for preferably a one stop shop to stock up on bongs, papers, pipes, grinders, etc. upon arrival.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you're for investing in a quality branded bong, then Baba's your shop. But if like me, you have an afinity for losing bongs whilst stoned, check out some of the smaller headshops and buy a small non branded beast for under EUR10  They're scattered all over the place in the centrum, especially near central station.

Also, since I dare not bring home a used bong, a cheapy is always good. In fact, next trip I'll just bring a downpipe and use the old school cola bottle method! :)

I love bonging the stash, but that vape at 420 may have converted me to volcanos!

What ever you choose, have a great trip and smoke a bong for me :D

At first I always went to baba for pipes, then saw all the other places on the same street with what looked like the same pipes-only cheaper.Last time I bought mine from the first coffeeshop I entered.
