Eindhoven: New Wave/ Pink Closed?

Post by Preme »

I'm spending 3 days for business in Amsterdam 3-5th Feb, was planning to stop off in Eindhoven for the weekend.
I've been there a few times and they've got some minimal night going at Effenar on Saturday, so seemed a good call.

Looking at reviews on the site for Pink & New Wave it was posted that both have now been closed for having well over 1/2 a k in stock.
Is that the case, can anyone confirm?

Is De Bakkerij open at least?

Those were basically the 3 places I've been to.

Amnesia never failed to please.
So could I get some good smoke atm?

I have posted you on the February Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town during your visit.

Have a great trip.

I've got to work while I'm there so I can't get up to the kind of craziness that'd probably happen.

Thursday night would be okay if anyone wants to chill with a major geek like myself and do some serious smoking.

Looks like I might have to take stuff with me if a lot of the shops in Eindhoven have been busted.

I'd really like to get some good Diesel ( what I'd do for some Chemdog or nice SD ) 8)
I've had some from Rokerij and Hunters but I think the Rokerij one was the real flavour.

I was in Eindhoven on the 14th

I'd heard that Pink was closed, so we didnt go there.

Eurogarden was probably my favourite with wicked SS Haze, De Bakerrij was open, but not the greatest weed in the world, and the grasshopper was open with alright smoke - the Amnesia Haze was special

Really? I think it was Grasshopper that was selling some food dyed weed as Strawberry haze last time I was there lol.
Some proper Turkish mafia place (if it's the place I'm thinking of) .
Bakkerij was where i got Amnesia last time.

Pink and New wave were really nice, real pity.
I hear Pink had 250k... OMG!
Guess I'll try Eurogarden, I think I missed it.

Ok thanks for the news, I'll have to bring some weed and just try and score a few nice gs.

As long as Bakkerij is open that's ok, I was mostly there anyway for the beers.

Coffeeshops haven't been able to sell alcohol since April 2007. It's still a CS so that means no more alcohol. Sorry.

They have a seperate coffeeshop next door to the bar, with a smoking and drinking room behind

Grasshopper was busy but didnt seem dodgy. I was worried about the tobacco ban but the owner was smoking a ciggy behinf the bar when we arrived.

Yes , it's actually De Apotheker (pharmacy) CS ( hehe, really cool jars behind bar ).

De Bakkerij is tied to it and is a smoker friendly bar/ club.
On the weekend they have a DJ and it's full of locals who are getting seriously high.

I dunno if the place I'm thinking of was Grasshopper, fairly small place but they honestly had pink food coloured "strawberry haze" as the top stuff. LOL
Was not at all impressed.
I could enjoy a weekend at just Bakerrij and Effenar.
Main reason is it's more quiet and much cheaper than Amsterdam.

Mandarin Park Plaza for instance is 60 euro a night on weekends. :o
