Change of plans

Post by poetnik »

Hi again guys, just want to start by saying this forum and the people that comprise it are great. I was originally going to arrive the morning after my friends. Now, however, myself and one of them will be there hours before the other 4. It will be about 3pm, just two of us, first good smoke in a long time. Where/what to start with?Basjoes' for some Orange Bud?I read OB was good for a smooth, friendly smoke but I also read it is an Indica. I thought in general Sativas were best for a laughy/smiley time?Your knowledge and advice is sought for. Thanks :D We're staying in the Hotel Tourist Inn, heard good things about Basjoes

first good smoke in a long time
something not too knockout, then!

Basjoe's would be a good start, as would De Kuil. Look around the middle of the menu 8-10 euros a gram for the type of green you're after :)

Thanks puffpuffgive. What's abraxas like?looks kinda cool but some reviews aren't so good regarding the atmosphere/weed. Know of anywhere that has a tendency to play any Dylan? :)

As much as I love Basjoes, I would recommend 420 cafe for some New York City Diesel as an excellent starter. It has a wonderful flavour and is a nice mild smoke. Green Place also has a lovely NYCD, but I prefer 420 as a coffeeshop :)

You know, I've yet to try NYCD. Had Sour D, but not the NYCD. Maybe some day. I've heard it's a tasty smoke.

thanks guys. I had the NYCD on my last trip, think it was from Tweede Kamer, but I can't be sure. Loved the Laughing Buddha from there. Never been to 420. To be honest I didn't see many CS's last time and I was there for a week. Was drinking more then so things tended to get messy. I'm just going to revel in the bud this time though(with the odd cold beer). The hostel is right by Amnesia, would you still go with 420 as a starting point?

Of course, on the way to the hostel, I would go to 420 first as you have to go out through damrak anyway, it's on the way.

Hmmm...maybe some day. Don't see it round these parts, maybe some of the Denver providers have some. I'm loving BB's Blue Cheese at the moment.
