Ajax Amsterdam

Post by Nice Dreams »

Hi i will be going to the Dam in Feb with some friends and we have noticed that Ajax have a home game on the 22 feb when we are there. We are thinking of going to the game and i was wondering if anyone has been there and what is the best way to get tickets. I've looked on the offical Ajax site but if your outside the netherlands you cant purchase tickets without a travel package, also checked out a couple of other sites selling tickets but they seem a bit pricy at £70- £90 each, is this the going rate or could we get them cheaper out there on the trip? would appreciate your help guys.

Many thanks for that Sombrero some really useful information there. I have contacted Ajax and just waiting to hear what they have to say. It seems a bit of a shame that you have to join their club to purchase tickets, but I understand why as many teams in the uk run the same system and it gives the genuine fans the chance to buy tickets first. And thanks Cantona7 yes I have thought about going to the Amsterdam tournament in the past will have to go one year, I was in Amsterdam for the champion league final between Juventus and Real Madrid and there was a great atmosphere in the city over those few days so I can imagine it must be it must be pretty good when the tournament is on. Nice name buy the way.
