Add the Green Place, Basjoe and Mellow Yellow to that List. Must visit shops IMO.
If you do go to Haarlem, make sure you pop into Coffeeshop Birdy. They have excellent value and there Hash is of a very good Quality.
I can also recommend Empire coffeeshop, they have a whole section of thier menu dedicated to Hazes.
Have a blast. If you're still in Amsterdam on friday be sure to show face at the Meet and greet on Friday at the Green Place. I'll see you there!

dont avoid barneys.. everyone has different opinions.. and for me barneys is usually a great experience. yes the prices are a tad high, but they usually stock something decent and the shops are clean they have good pita toasties.. lolSir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:You'll get there, and all your plans will go out the windows. Agreed, you start off with lots of plans but as soon as you get to Adam you end up like a little kid in a sweetie shop....... so many choices ... so little time !!Sir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:You'll get there, and all your plans will go out the windows. Those are all nice shops, but sometimes it's fun to get out of the centrum and to the local neighborhoods. Pacific, Katsu, Papilion, Goed goed, Catweazle, Happy People, etc etc etc can be less crowded with more friendly local customers and more unique menu items. I have been spending time in La Tertulia(they have these cool 5 gram disc's of Iceolator for 100E) and shops like Sanementereng lately and always have a very nice time chatting with the regular local crowd. That is what Ganja Tours is about. Have you been to Biba or even Siberie? There are some great choices besides the always talked about tourist shops.

Like i said it was my view, i take your point cheese. But the gear is so overpriced and of less quality compared to other places. Barneys do their carmello at 18e/g i read on here, whereas Stix do a very nice Carmello at 8e/g. Not to mention the better atompshere in Stix.cheese wrote:dont avoid barneys.. everyone has different opinions.. and for me barneys is usually a great experience. yes the prices are a tad high, but they usually stock something decent and the shops are clean they have good pita toasties.. lolSir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:You'll get there, and all your plans will go out the windows.
