What is your OVERALL favourite skunk from Dam???
It doesnt have to be the strongest, give u the longest high, make u feel totally monged out or stink the most, but i was just wondering on which Skunks people feel most comfortable smoking!!! most people wanna try the strongest, but how can u truly measure the high when trying so many other weeds at the same time so it is impossible to say. Im quite comfortable smoking most weeds in Dam, but i have 2 say my favourite is Cheese. The buds are nicely structured, not 2 fluffy and crispy (which crumb 2 dust in ure fingertips), not 2 many twigs running through the buds and the taste is amazing, as for the buzz, i smoke all day everyday, the buzz is simular 2 me in most cases, so if im gonna be smoking 1 skunk all day everyday is will defiently be the Cheese (from Homegrown Fantasy or Dampring). But as their are so many different weeds in Dam i could never just stay on the Cheese all day!!!!! (It would be like drinking beers all day and even when ure ready for the sprits u stay on the beer!!!! eww lol)... If i had my choice of Weed in the UK it would be the Cheese... standard

Ah - Sativa is definitely the bud of choice, but if can be choosy - then I'd balaze good haze all day. Hazes are the supreme rulers from the Cannabis Kingdom.
I mentioned in another thread how all we get here in London UK is Indica's, nothing wrong with that, especially when you gettin the Cheese! Remember the Cheese is a UK strain, so we do get a good bud here!
Favourite bud of the moment - 2008/2009 Cannabis Cup Winner "Super Lemon Haze" from the greenhouse coffee shop!
Others - Mako Haze, Chocolope, LA Confidential, K-Train (which is a kushy indica)
I should have some K-train in a couple months, with some Jorges Diamonds #1 and Red Diesel...
Yo, Liquid Swords - ya know we be blazin come May!

So we are on about weed in general then. In that case it would be hard for me to choose from the weed in the Dam as quality changes. So what was good last year is normally not this year.
My personal fav is my own Blue Mystic as it provides me with a nice aroma, taste and an good High (Not the best high but still good).
enjoy

Erm - It's all down to personal preference. Last years bud is just as good as this years bud. Some people are of the opinion that before skunk hit the scene in amsterdam - The weeds and hashes were of a better quality than they are now... I beg to differ on that.Kermit wrote:Thankspuffpuffgive wrote:the UK definition of skunk is: green cannabis. ie, not hash or thai weed. skunk, green, bud, sensi.![]()

But it is interesting to note that Budtenders in coffeshops dont fall for the hype! Most budtenders, when asked about their favourite smoke or recommendation for a smoke - said that they smoke their bud like we smoke cigarettes - they stick to a brand! Silk Cut cigarette smokers wont go into a shop to buy a box of rothmans, in much the same way, tokers who are native to the netherlands keep to a specific herb. I found in general - the budtenders and locals went for the White Widow. And to be honest - at 7euros a gram it hit the spot in all ways. Some locals are even adamant about whre they purchase their White Widow from.
Bottom line is - Us tourists, when we're in amsterdam, we smoke everything. Get a confusing buzz, and all we can comment on is the taste and flavour of the buds... the highs get confusing after 2 or 3 different joints.
Peace... sorry for the essay.
UK skunk is generally anything green lol. Cheese from Dampkring is up there on my list, I remember it being the strongest and trippiest high of all. Not something I could smoke socially without practice!
Yup the Super Lemon Haze was special, but I didn't get the chance to bong it. Final answer would be blueberry from MY - I love the taste and the high.

No way m8. I go 5 times a year and know my bud and beleive me quality differs throughout the year and has done for the last 13 years of visiting.Trichome_Dense wrote:Erm - It's all down to personal preference. As for the locals going for the white widow thats a no aswell. I like a smoke with the locals and last trip a popular strain was Amnesia Skunk @ the Dampkring II not very white widow to me. The locals follow the quality as with everyone else and the saying goes follow the locals.
As for not knowing one taste to the next maybe you need less tobacco in your spliffs because i certainly can taste the difference and buzz type between strains. TBH thats like saying why have a starter or pudding with your meal coz u aint gonna taste it.
enjoy
Dampkring II sell Cheese Skunk? whats this coz they sell cheese too?
My definition of skunk is the unique earthy undertones when smoked and that unique smell a burning joint gives off. Hence why skunk is in the name. (IMO)
and sorry to for the essay its just like the Police naming every crop they bust as skunk. Skunk this skunk that.
This is really difficult. I always find, that variety is the best strain
I find it hard to smoke only one strain, thats why we usually have different hazes, one old-school strain and different hashes to choose from. I hate it when we have to smoke one strain....even if it was Blueberry Haze or something like this, sometimes I love to get crazy on the Haze-high, sometimes I prefer the stone you get from a good Indica. It depends on the mood I am in. when we go clubbing, I prefer the Hazes, as we listen to House/Electro, the effect the hazes have on me fit perfectly with the music, since I would never take chemical drugs haze is my XTC
So I would say, overall its the haze, but there are times when I prefer to smoke something like Jamaican or Thai weed....before going to sleep, a nice joint of black afghaan is just the right thing to put you asleep.

I found out a funny fact just recently. I found from a friend of mine that in the Carolinas, and southeast US, they refer to cheese as "Porkchop" I highly doubt there is any strain difference to speak of, but we do sometimes get really odd regional naming in the US, another stupid thing is that you could take a bag of raked leaves to many youngins in this area, and just mention the word Kush, they run to it like mad, doesn't really matter what kind it is for them.
How am I not myself?
