Personally i liked the pig, its nothing fancy but I found it to be cheap, cheerful, fun and friendly, both me and a friend stayed in august, we both liked it he returned last year in oct and we'll both be back atleast once in 09 hopefully 2 or 3 times, I'll continue using the pig until I personally have a bad time there, but at the moment I couldnt say a bad word about the place.

Here as one of the "craziest party hostels around the world". My opinion is its a good choice, some people may disagree, The only way for you to know is try it see if it fits you. Good luck and have a good time mate.

I forgot to say, if you like a good burger try "burger bar" on the corner of nieuwendijk and kolksteeg, it cant be more than 200 metres from the hostel, also you shoud try Wok to walk, its also on kolksteeg just a bit further down.
