Good quality Bud & hash in Eindhoven reports

I will be in Eindoven next month (Feb 09) and would be grateful for any up to date advice on were the best place's are to buy smokables, plus it will also be helpful to know what the price's are like and if they have any worth while 5g deals.
If there is nothing worth while here then i will head in to Damge, just to check out Noon, Bluebird and D&L.
Any helpful advice and tips will be truly appriciated, thanks.
All going well i shall report my mission on my return.

I was in Amsterdam in December and my plan was to sample something in some other city once for comparison. It was going to be Eindhoven as I was going to be there for one day anyway. I went to Grey Area before to ask them which coffeeshop they would recommend. I was told, not by John but the other guy, that weed and hash in the rest of Holland was not at the same level as Amsterdam. (A local listening to this concurred.) I then asked him about Willie Wortel's in Haarlem, of which I had heard many good things on this site. The budtender told me that Haarlem was Amsterdam (probably in the sense that they are so near to each other.)

I took this to be valuable information, and decided not to waste any money in Eindhoven. But I had a mission to see what a coffeeshop scene outside of Amsterdam was like. From the Eindhoven train station, I wandered around for half an hour to see if I could run into one just by accident. It really began to look like it was going to be a failed attempt, when I turned a corner and ran into a Grasshopper coffeeshop. I walked in and it seemed a lot different than the two in Amsterdam -- more of a local place, but with some "polish." The people in there were all twenty somethings, and the staff were very friendly and eager to help. Just from the smell of weed in the air and the menu, it seemed like a safe bet, although I declined and decided to buy later in Amsterdam.

I wouldn't miss an opportunity to try weed from non-touristy areas as you may find something special that you can't find in AmDam. Also, the weed in the coffeeshops in AmDam centruum is targeted for tourists, and the locals know this, that's why they go to their local CS instead.

Thanks alot Burn001down, that link is quite helpful altho' i can't read dutch, but i can read the names & price's of "Buda" on the menu

Looking at that shit helps to build up an appetite, not to mention a plan of action

(starters, main course, dessert)

I think if I made the trek to Eindhoven, I'd pick up some grass just for the experience. Assuming it looked and smelled good. I'd trust my nose and eyes before any budtender's advice, no matter the shop. I mean it seems improbable that Amsterdam has the only good grass in the country. Sometimes you just gotta roll the dice.

everyone who thinks the weed/hash in Eindhoven isnt good has never bought any there

a few good ones:
Grasshopper, very good Bud for very cheap prices, doesnt seem to be a part of the chain in Amsterdam.
The Pink, nice atmosphere, good buds, but not too cheap, very friendly staff!
The Wall, very very nice buds, good prices, very small but funky

They sell the usual stuff like Orange Bud (superb 5€/g at Grassshoper), Amnesia Haze (11€) a nice Shiva for 9e at Pink and so on....good stuff!

is it a gram for 5 euros on that orange bud. jeez, i bought a 5 euro bag and made one j from it, i thought it was quite big lol.

Eurograden have some nice super silver haze, and we tried the nyc diesel from grasshopper and wasnt so impressed.

the norther lights from Eurogarden was good, but not quite as good as De Bakkerij's NLX. the Bio Spec from Bakkerij was quite tasty in a kind of herby/parsley way but not very strong.

I had a look at the icolater in Eurogarden but it didnt seem great, they said it was pressed THC but it looked quite grey and not like any ice hash i'd seen in Amdsterdam. they had some lovely maroc, but it wasnt cheap, the name escapes me but gourgous hash.

Thanks Pala, i took another closer look and yes it look's like it is written in French.
