It was my 7th trip, two of my mates 4th and 5th, and ones 1st. The last member of our party hadn’t been before but is an everyday smoker and he took the plane as he had to go to work. We took the train and boat. Weather held up and looking back I surprised myself by smoking a lot of indicas – and loved them! Stayed at hotel ABBA and used stenaline.

Day 1
Get up 3.45am, get to Liverpool street by 5.30 and on the train to Harwich by 6. Return cost £92 cos I booked it late, usually £80. Get out of central station at 6.30pm and go straight to Warmoesstraat. Its pissing with rain so we hurried to Hunters, but it was full so we walked down to the coin.
The Coin
1g Pink Kush E14 – my friend was very keen to try a kush. Thick strong smoke, kinda hashy. Strong high.
1g Sour Diesel E11 – had the diesel tang but wasn’t full flavour.
1g Amnesia Haze E13 – tasted like skunky cooking apples. Amazing flavour. Nice floating high.
Also smelt cheese – not very cheesy, dealer commented after. Chocoloupe at E13 smelt ok but amnesia was irresistible.
Got the n.o 1 tram to overtoom and checked in. Waited an hour or so for the last member who arrived at 11.
Rokerij
1g Santa Maria E8.50 – worst weed of trip smelt and tasted like grit/sand chemical weed which I have to avoid smoking at home. I smelt 2 strains and they smelt the same, not of much with a slight synthetic smell. My mate who’s first time buying weed legally smelt 5 and said they all smelt shit and chemy. Fuck the Rokerij – 2 worst weeds ive ever had in dam have come from them. Other was silver shiva. Utter wank.
Tweede Kamer
1.5g G13xAmnesia E19.50 – coughed like first timer on this. Not best taste but powerful high.
2g LA con E20 – musky and sweet with a fruity lemon hint. All round amazing. Taste, smell, high. Would be my everyday smoke if I had to choose one.
1g Grape E10 – woodsy fruity grapetastic. Great indica heavy stone.
1g Chocoloupe E10 – smelt slightly chocolaty, had an unique taste and unique high. Very nice. Different.
I loved everything. But how can LA and Chocoloupe be E10 when they are E15 in other places. They cant be 33% better. Usually I would have gone to grey area but the prices are too high (also cos of the shitty £). You don’t need to spend E13-15 to get the top quality. E8-11 should suffice. One thing I was concerned about is that they labelled Chocoloupe as an indica(DNA say its 90/10 staiva/indica) but smoking made me think it was more of a 60-40. I noticed Tweede Kamer also called LA Con a sativa when it first popped up and have now changed it. Im confused, I don’t really think that Cannaloupe is a pure sativa at all (which has been alleged by growers to DNA), I enjoyed the strain very much just wanted to get my head round it.
Bluebird
2.6g Blue Cheese – not very cheesy like ive had from here before – more of a blueberry sativa. Still very nice.

Grey area
3g silver bubble E14/per g – as soon as the Tupperware was opened me and two of my 3 mates asked for a g. didn’t turn out to be the best smoke, lacked a ko high I was expecting from SSH. Still very nice berry haze but not worth it.
1g Cannaloupe Haze E11.50 – disappointed. Nice and smooth but lacked taste.
1g Recon E11.50 – it was the LA con with passion fruit poured on it. Amazing. Loved it.
Also: pure equatorial sativa apparently uncrossed for E16.50 per g! Grey Martian didn’t do it for my smell receptors.
Amnesia:
1g Pineapple haze E12 – nice and fruity, not too hazy. Nice but not stand out.
Didn’t stay this time because my 24year old mate with a beard was not allowed to enter with no ID.
Greenplace:
1g Caramello E9 – smoked half and then lost the other. Was good for the price. Didn’t touch the sample I got from amnesia for E14 last jan.
1g Purple Kush E12 – my eyes almost popped out when I saw how purple it was. It smelt and tasted like blackcurrant cough syrup. Fucking amazing weed.
1g NYCD E9.50 – best nycd, but stil not on top top form.
Also had mean Martian and BB cheese and la con – at high prices.E13-14
Noon
1g Blue Berry Haze E10 – very blueberry with a hit of haze, better last jan. still a very good deal.
1g White Mellon E8 – slightly sweet, bit like Cannaloupe.
Also no strawberry or orange haze. Mellow yellow was packed when we walked past. Sp5 haze smelt good but didn’t warrant E13 per 1g.
Dampkring:
.5g G13xAmnesia – see above
.5 Mexican Haze E13 per/g–super haze uppy high, after smoking the Shibani Dahab and benign pulled into the ground, a few pulls of this made me feel like my head was a hot air balloon. Amazing happy, grinning high.
.5g Sour Stella E9 per/g –smelt nice but didn’t pack a punch or taste like sour diesel or Stella on its own.
1g Shibani Dahab E14– looked at the Noor, it was very hard. I asked to see something softer, this was definitely it. So soft and glittery. Like it says on the menu a exceptional intense body high. Cut through 13 skunks smoked previous in Suzie’s saloon.
.5g Sour Diesel E9 per/g– full flavour sour. Lovely.
1g Oceans 12 Haze E12– nice haze with slightly different taste to the others.
Also saw fruitcake – nice small light green buds but it didn’t stand out. SSH was not on top from.
Went for a burger in Coco’s. Smoking room is now a lot smaller than last year, but at least its still there!
Chilled in Abraxas for a bit. Stank that place out. Everyone who came in eye boggled us and then went straight to the counter. Too bad none of what we were toking was from there! Played good mix of music; hip hop, chill out, dubstep etc.

.4g crystal clear E10 – not as good as before, still strong
1.4g diesel mix E10 – nice smoke, slightly sour – nor really recommended.
4.4g Afghan E20 – good for the price
.5g red Lebanese E5 – a prezzie for my dad who hadn’t seen it in 20 years.
Club Media
.7g Sour Diesel E7 – very nice and soooo smooth. Smoked all in a pure which had a sour tang taste and clear high.
1.4g Hindu Kush E14 – organic indica, blew me away. Different. This shop rules.
Went to Picasso to chill before our mate had to get the train to the airport. prices gone up, I was expecting some cheep hash. Cheapest 5g was E35ish. They did have Picasso skunk at 1g = E5! Ok priced drinks and same friendly owner.
Dampkring 2
.5g Cheese E11 per g – very rich and cheesey. Lovely. Wish I had smoked more
.5g laughing Buddha E6.50 per g – deal, sweet and slightly sour taste. Not strongest.
Went here and thought we would chill. But no it has had a makeover, all black and modern. No comfy seats, good music, sarnies, friendly vibe like the old Pink Floyd. More like a graveyard. Its sad that this is what they think we want. Only good bit was there was a sample of each of their wares behind glass in the counter, the only thing they have kept.
Amnesia
.65g Red Cherry Berry E12 per g – I didn’t think it that nice (as I have such good memories of smoking it almost a year ago) but everyone loved its fruitiness. Did have a good warm stone.
.65g LSD E13 per g – smelt like the skunk version of expensive curing Parma ham and tasted like sweet lemon candy. Too much. AMAZING!
Again, like Dampkring2, I feel this place no longer has any soul. They tried to make it look futuristic and there’s too much uncomfortable metal, the woman budtender did not have a clue about the strains they stocked. I miss the old cosy, friendly amnesia. Used to be my number 1 shop to chill, not any more.
Went to Dolphins had a hot chocolate but was too high to smoke a vape. Very small generic menu.
Barneys Lounge
.5g G13 haze E13 per/g– nice taste but not the crazed high I remember. Mid range haze, not top.
.5g Sweet Tooth E11 per/g– lemony, pine sweetness. Lovely
Also had a pure uncrossed sativa like Grey Area but for E18.50 per g!
Watched a DVD about hip hop battles and chilled. I like the dealer, was very friendly and not a prick like other Barneys employees.

Overall: very quite on Sunday – was asked where the English were a few times, I like it a bit empty though; dealers give you more of their time and there’s less ques. Loads of good weed about.
