Well now...
I thought all of this had finally blown over, but there ya go.
What riled me the most, and prompted me to post in the first place was the suggestion to an UNDERAGE poster that he buy their weed for them (and help them smoke it, presumably). That one, totally irresponsible comment did it for me. As a local, surely, the best idea would have been to quietly suggest this to the poster via PM, rather than openly risk having the coffeeshop shut down or fined if there were to be an inopportune raid on the place. Bang out of order IMHO.
I never said anything to the guy at the time because to be fair, I didn't really know him well enough to know how he may have reacted to the criticism, and I have seen plenty of "hyper" folks go completely off the deep end at the least such provocation, and this was, after all, my holiday which I didn't want to remember with any unduly bad feelings. My wish to give him the benefit of the doubt still, quite bizarrely, stands.
I sincerely hope that, perhaps even as a result of his posts on here, he has "calmed down" a touch, as I bear him personally no ill will, however, some of his behaviour at that particular time left me with no desire to repeat the experience. I don't sit behind a computer screen sniping at people, extremepain - life's too short, and I thought I had adequately justified my online opinions and reasoning behind my posts. Similarly, this didn't come out in the coffeeshop at the time for the very reasons listed above.
The forum is here for the benefit of all the users, newbies and veterans alike, and when I saw this being abused, I spoke up.

Look guys, I don't like telling people what to think, but I'm going to have to put my 2 cents in here.
When I first read gapie's posts and indeed first met him, I had the exact same feelings as most people here. Now I see gapie fairly often, and i have to say, he is calming down. Yes he is hyper active, some people would call it ADHD, but the point is he is loud and sometimes I can't understand what he is saying, but after a few smokes he calms down. I've mentioned it to him everytime we meet for a smoke, and everytime I meet him he seems to relax and calm down quicker. He is a good guy, he shares his weed as much as I do, but like me, there are some times of the month when the money isn't flowing and the weed pot is empty, but I'm always in the 420 even then
Yes he does take some getting used to, and he didn't understand how the way of the weed works, but he's learning, just appreciate that some people are different from us. Oh and the staff in the 420 love gapie now they know him, speak to Jane or Alex or Steve, the regular guys, and they will tell you how funny he is.
I don't normally interfere with slagging matches, but at the end of the day, it is unjustified in my experience of gapie, it certainly may have been the case, as was my early feelings when first meeting him, but now it is most definitely not the case and I would like to request this thread be locked as it is an unfair witch hunt on another human being.
If you have an issue with someone, take it up with them through PM or just ignore them, I am extremely disappointed with the content of this thread, I thought you were peace loving weed smokers.

I've never smoked hash a day in my life and plan on poppin' the cherry come April, so exactly how ripped will I be after smoking this menacing Terminator I've read so much about?
