Hello friends! First of all, nice forum, and very nice page overall.
I am traveling to amsterdam for the first time with two friends on the 27th of february to the 4th of march, and I have a few questions..
Another friend of ours is only 17, he will be 18 in one month..
Now, I read that you must be 18 and all that.. but does the coffeshops really check ID?

Is there any KFC's in Amsterdam? (Until this day theres still not even one kfc in whole of sweden. Unbelieveable.)

The plane lands in Eindhoven, is there anything there worth exploring? Lets say we want to kick one before the train, which coffeeshop would you recommend, near the centrum ofcourse..

I've never been to the dam..........yet. From posts I have read I would advise you not to go into any shops whatsoever if your under 18. The shop gets caught serving you and they are done. Don't ruin it for everyone else. Tell him to wait till he's 18, then go.

Never been to Eindhoven so cant help on that one.

And key in KFC Amsterdam, NL in the search box.

If you HAVE to smoke with the 17 year old, DO NOT do it in coffee shops. Simply go in and buy something (without him coming in) and then take it back to your hotel.

At least this way you don't risk anything happening to the shop for serving underagers.

The is a KFC on the Damrak right next to McDonalds!!!!!..... As for ure 17 years old mate, y not take him in a coffeeshop, if he gets asked for ID then at least u can say u tried, if that is the trend for the next coupe shops then i would say its time to give up and find somewhere else to smoke what u buy...

yo we can meetup if yer younger then 18 we can meetup get some smokes i wil get it for u then we can go to a bar then is is possible u can smoke there they dont care if yer 18 or younger in da bar u can drink and smoke like in the NES example or we can go to my place and chill out here

sure i saw the kfc on damrak getting a fit out on monday or wednesday this week. can't remember which day, defo wasn't open tho.

because regardless of if he has bought anything or is smoking if they get inspected and he getd id'd the cs will be in deep shit. Wait till hes 18, these are peoples livelyhoods as well as one of the few places we can enjoy the herb in peace. Dont be selfish and potentially ruin cs's for everyone else. Leave him outside and go and smoke in the hostel or vondel park

Encouraging shit like this is really bad form. Potentially risking a decent CS getting fined or even closed is not gonna win ANY friends on here...

If there is even the slightest chance that the cs will get in trouble then ofcourse we will not risk it, and Gapie- no friggin way..
