You really do have to question how often the bloke who does this site kanes it - the only bad review I've seen in years was for some anonymous hash he was given by tourists on their way home.Boner wrote:I know but he's got to get some right now and then.geoffk wrote:Yeah but he makes everything sound good. I've tried many of the recommended strains - most, to be fair, have been top. Some, however, have not been anything like the rave review.
I keep reading it though - As bud porn goes it is fantastic!
Can't help thinking the Equitorial is something we are going to see more and more in the net few months. Could be worse!

Go through and find your worst weed. He will say its the dogs as per the norm.
He obviously gets alot of freebies so he has to keep the cs sweet.

Now I Know The Name Of The Beast!!!!! I bought a couple of gs of this in early january at Grey Area, As the marker wore off, I didnt have a name on the bag anymore. It is really good, but I have a really high tolerance. It is definitely a very tasty, bouncy sativa, it is as odd a weed as you will see, it has these thin THIN little stems, then.....calyxes, nothing else, just these boar's hair width stems and groups of calyxes. A person has to try something that odd looking, don't they? That's how I thought too, and I did enjoy it, but I wouldn't say it is a "Pros only" weed.Boner wrote:I know but he's got to get some right now and then.geoffk wrote:Yeah but he makes everything sound good. The bushdoctor does tend to go a bit overkill on the descriptions but in his defence a cs will no doubt send him the freshest best sample as they know he will publicly review it. Lets face it, how many of us have been tantalised into purchasing some buds on the strength of his review? I know i have. However, yeah some of his reviews border on poncey.

Don't get me wrong, bush Dr is perfect to see some buds, and get an ideas of what available in the dam. Before I went, I read his reviews for G13 and Crimea Blue, bought them and they were very nice. Saw Blue Cheese in the shop, and remembered his review of normal cheese, so I bought and it was very nice. But the thing with Bush Doctor, is you interpret the weed as being really great or really bad, there is no middle review. And all the effects seem to be the same, regardless of strain, eg peripherals, visuals, flashing blah blah. Don't tell you if its get you talkative, or knocked out, running or laying down etc.Dro inspector wrote:The bushdoctor does tend to go a bit overkill on the descriptions but in his defence a cs will no doubt send him the freshest best sample as they know he will publicly review it. I think BushDr is just like me, honsetly loves every bit of bud that crosses his palms and can appreciate the good qualities of each bud without making comparsions to others available. Unless the weed is completely shit when he tells you. Thats why i think his reviews can come over a little too postive, but tbh i can see why, most buds ( providing they have no containments and are grown to a decent standard ) have postive aspects about them. He tends to focus on those. It would be like me ripping into a bud because its not as strong as the last bud i bought e.g atm i have gone from very high quality indoor grown White Rino. Big meaty nugs heavy crystal and a bit of zombie-fier. I now have some import outdoor, big buds still but less crystals milder smell and milder taste. Effect still good but very much the top of the head high. The outdoor bud is still good in its own right, even though the smell is less noticable it has a nice subtle earthy/spicey smell and the taste is less strong again a earthy spicey taste to the White Rino, its very nice in its own right. I think this bud is also very good, not as strong etc as the WR but still its a good bud I think Bushdr does the same, he tells you why this certain strain is good without letting his previous smoking interfer with his judgement of the bud. Its up to you to read the reviews and work out which appeals to your particular idea of what makes good herb.
After all that typing its time to wrap one up.......any takers?
Peace.

I examined the Quasar/Equatorial Sativa in a few places. The bit I was shown in Grey Area was pony, like an oversized stick insect with 2mm buds behind each knee-joint.
Having seen some good stuff, I'd say the bit they tried to sell me was from lower down the plant, under the main tops, one of the chunkier branches cut into pieces!
Quite a few of the tubs I looked at in Grey Area were looking/smelling good though. The Martian stuff appealed the most, but didn't buy, mainly due to the price really. My friend grabbed their BBCheese which was good.
