Greenhouse Effect (Room Question)

Post by FenixNYC »

Down to the final stages of planning.

They have the Outerspace, Retro & Redman rooms left available. I browsed through multiple pages and found some great personal photos/reviews of some of these room, but just had a few further ?'s.

1) Does Outerspace have a window? All pics I've seen it hasn't appeared to be any.

2) Does anyone have anymore self taken pix of any of these rooms?

3) Is the online reservation form (which looks very unofficial) safe to enter my CC information?

Again, thanks to any and all who help with further info. This site has been a godsend.

Hey Fenix, first of all enjoy your time Amsterdam. Post your dates on the travel section of the forum, and Fly By Nite will post your dates on his website.
With regards to your question regarding GHE rooms, I stayed in one last year, and booked through this:

There's a few more pics, but unfortunately nothing showing more of Outerspace.
You could always e-mail GHE and ask about the window situation:

Hostel Bookers

Can't say about registering through the webiste. I used Hostelbookers.com to book at The Greenhouse Effect Hotel

About a week later, I forwarded the email booking receipt I received from Hostel Bookers directly to the Greenhouse Effect Hotel, requesting a confirmation. They replied promptly that they had received my reservation, and had all the details in the reply.
