Friday the 13th - 1day trip (hunting the hazes)

Post by sh@dy »

Ok, it seems we are finally coming over again!
This time my parents and some friends and of course my girl will be with me. Will have to do a bit sight seeing with my parents first and then I will do the usual coffeeshop-tour to get some nice stuff.

What I wanted to buy was this:
Blueberry Haze from Noon (10€)
Orange Haze from Mellow Yellow (11€)
Lavender from Dampkring (8,5€)
Super Silver Haze from Mellow Yellow

My question is:
are there any new Hazes or other strains with a unique taste in those two shops? Since we dont have much time we wont be visiting many shops, so the only exception would be another shop like green place if someone says there are unique strains (I saw something like Jack Haze is available at MY? puffin13?).

Definitly try that Jack Herer Haze buddy, I thought it was excellent.
Theres a pic of it in my last travelogue if you want to see it.

At the greenplace I was impressed with everything. I bought Lemon Skunk,Purple Kush, Master Martian, Blueberry Cheese and Sharksbreth. All were very nice, particular praise for the Purple Kush.

Have to say I am not a Kush fan after trying the Hindu Kush from coffeeshop relax at the border.
Which strain had the most unique taste of the ones from Green Place? Do they have a nice haze or other sativa with good taste?

Hindu Kush and the OG Kushes aren't quite the same. I think the OGs have a little more flavor, but that's just me. I still love Hindu kush.

a true OG kush taste you will never forget.. i would suggest trying another to really be confident before ruling out all kushes.

i have not tried a hindu kush that tastes anything like a true lemon kush or purple kush etc. the kushes are just about everywhere right now in my town.. and thats cause of the flavor.. its definetely unique.

again please try it out again shady.. maybe not on this trip, but at least at some point. i assure you if you get the real deal.. you wont think the taste or effect is bland at all.

i have had many kush's that people say are kush's but really arent.. many people i think just latch onto the kush hype and say it is something it is not. like i said.. once you try a real kush .. you will always be able to point out the real deal. best of luck on your adventure..

and thats great you get to go over there with your entire imediate family.. or at least a large portion of it. some great memories are bound to be had.

cheers shady!!

sh@dy, I've been really digging Big Buddha's Blue Cheese lately. A real nice sativa effect. Not a haze by a long shot, but sweet flavor and nice up high. Lasts a good while too.

@Flybynite:
I will as always try to bring you some of the menus, as I have seen many arent as up2date as you would think of the number of travel reports.

@cheese:
I will try to hit Green Place for the purple kush. Maybe you didnt get me right, the Hindu Kush we got from the border definitely is a kush in my eyes, and its special too, but its just not my type of weed. If I would have to choose a strain for medical purposes I would definitely say the Kush, but since I dont use it for medical purposes only (have a problem with my stomach which marihuana cured) I want the Sativas/Hazes.

@geoffk:
the blue cheese is from which shop?

Mine :lol: I've heard Bluebird has it, but some have listed it as an indica. You'll want Big Buddha's version. If I'm not mistaken, it was third place in the seed category for sativa in the CC 2006. I'm sold, I love it. Strong fruity and dank flavor with a nice sativa up high. You can feel the indica, much like in SSH.

Ahh Big Buddahs Blue Cheese, its one of my fav smokes of all time, fruity, earthy and a heady high. The OG Kush another one of my all time favs nice bitter, coffee with a hint of lemon flavour and nice relaxing buzz that hits fast.
