I loved the Quasar, I was in A'Dam in March and out of the strains I tried, I enjoyed it the most. The tub was full and I got just 1 gram but it was completely coated in trichromes and thin light fox tails like in the pictures. The baggy it came in was filled in the corners with crystals and it was in the bag less then half the day. Granted I didn't try many shops but I thought the real tourist trap was all of the Green House locations. I liked Barneys it was slow and service was fine for me. Maybe I got lucky but I really enjoyed this Quasar Haze, IMO it was the best I had there.

These were the couple strains I got to try while there in the order I liked them,

(1) quasar haze barneys

(2) Amnesia Haze easy times, loved the strong citrus smells

blueberry cafe 420 The real deal Blueberry I was searching for
blueberry paridiso Worst representation of blueberry ever
blueberryxbubblegum grey area
cheese easy times
NYC red diesel
king kush green house
pinapple Damprking bought on budtenders recommendation and it was a huge letdown.

I had some hashs too, but am not much of a hash person. I had a few other strains as well but forgot them.

Quaser Haze is like something from outer space, not for beginners.

looked at it this afternoon in the one down reguiliersgracht, all twigs and stems. looked like a cartoon fish after a cat ate it. is this normal? thought it must have been nothing but minor buds, so i left it and picked up some nice red diesel. if thats the way it always looks then i mught be pushed to ttry it if its that good, but it did look a bit off-putting.

TBH man all the reviews except two have torn Barneys example of this weed to bits, if you read this thread you'll see what i mean. Apprently Bluebirds version is much better, although its been called Quaze or something like that.

It looks weird, very small buds all running up the stems, but is very strong and covered in crystals.

I think i've dodged this strain for to long now. It is the price that puts me off. But i NEED to try this to see what all the fuss is about. I personally dont think any type off weed can be this expensive. But 2morro, i will definatly be getting at least a half g to smoke, and will post my feeling of the strain when i return...

didn't make it back to barney's last week :( . pangs of regret kicked in after reading the responses to my q. should've done my homework i suppose, but barney's wasn't a planned stop.
lookin at it, my first thought was "i'm gonna get a bag of twigs here", and i grabbed something else. ah well, it's not like i'm never going back, so,til next time....

Tried it again a few weeks back and again a big let down. Some people on here describe a soaring high and not for Newbs . I can honestly say i have never had any of that with it, and the closest description to the effect i had was from SR.
I dont and just cant rate this weed at all and the more i try the worst my opinion gets.
In total this year and with my 2 mates last trip we have consumed nearly E100 worth. Last trip we vaped it, My m8s bonged it (Me a pussy so dont do bongs), and we smoked joints of it. TBH i have been more stoned off sucking the gas out of a coke bottle when i was ten years old.
My opinion though so go and try it 4 yourself but my cash is never buying it again.

Shame Kermit, it is fantastically good :) Been smoking a fair bit but still buy it mostly from Bluebird.

I spoke to Billy at HGF about this weed as the guy came around offerring it to him. The weed is the same wherever you buy it. Same batch, same grower, there is only one guy growing this and he is supplying all the coffeeshops. Want to know why it's so expensive? The guys is charging €10g wholesale. Yes That's right, it is all the same weed.

That also means this grower has some huge operation, because these pure sativa's grow mighty tall, and he is supplying every coffeeshop that sells it in Amsterdam.

Just so you know why it is so much :)

that guy you mention is called quaze, he's a ic mag member, and has pictures of his grows over there, very odd looking but beutiful plants. As for the high prices on this stuff, Being such an extreme sativa I'd imagine they'd be a real pain and time consuming plant to grow, hence the high euros.
