i for one will definetely have to try a few dubes out of this when im over. just to say i tried it and give my opinion on it.

also soulrider you may know best but if anyone can also pitch in that would be great.

so since this is all the same shit from the same grower.. who is selling it off the cheapest.

just off the top barneys is 17 euro. bluebird is 15 euro ... what are the others at?? what is HGF selling it at? and any other coffeeshops.

From My memory.....Grey Area - €16.50 a gram, Barneys - €17 a gram, Bluebird €12.50 for .8 grams.
I dont think HGF sell it, infact I know they didnt last week.

gonna make a little list as its interesting to see how much each shop will charge for the EXACT same strain from the same batches and grower and all. i wonder which shop the grower gives the nicest nugs too

No nugs mate........ everytime ive seen it, its just THC smotherd calyxes. Barely clinging to cat-hair-thick stems!
If you do get a nug, make sure you take a good picture

What an unusual growth. No big cola but it looks like frost on a cold December morning. I have a 5 hour layover in the Dam tomorrow. Looks like I'm heading to Bluebird's for my first stop. Got to try this shit.

yeah, these pure sativas are very nice, but for me best for morning smokes... tough to feel the very clear effects of these weeds after a few heavier smokes.

Also, too bad its really hard to find (impossible for me so far) this gear in more local (cheaper!!!) coffeeshops as i do enjoy them as weekend wake n bakes! But today its only occasional as out of principal, i find it ridiculous to spend so much on weed on a regular basis (i already spend waaaay too much).

Ofcourse, on holidays, its a different story, and i completely understand yall, i wouldn't hesitate in your shoes and try em all out in one sitting!!! The Quasar or GA equivalent is one of the first sativas i buy with my friends who visit as I do find these strains very pleasant and interesting to smoke. The thing is, they are evidently the best clear high weeds in the dam so you pay 5-6 euros more than the second best. But those are the only herbs i'd buy at these shops (barneys/amnesia & GA).

I must insist on the very clear high as some sativas are more trippy. I mean, this won't hit you the same way a nice amnesia haze would at all (mmmm, my preference anyday!). Even the dudes at GA acknowledged that there was a limit to the high with those super clear weeds (thats when he sold me the sleebag or whatever its called instead... different effect, very nice herb, but wont rebuy coz of the price).

But i must acknowledge the brilliant marketing stunt that is overpricing the weed: everyone is curious to taste this weed that costs so much! I did too and probably will again soon (because of this topic!), although i'd sworn myself never to go back to Barneys or GA again.

Anyways, and although it would piss me off, if I were GA or Barneys I'd position my next great herb at 22€. Personally, any weed worth over 20 euros must be siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick! ;o) As i'm a sucker for herb, I'm sure i'd be curious.

Barneys says Dr Grinspoon is Quazar Haze 2.0, so the same, but better.

I have to say, you can't go wrong on any of these pure sativas. Grey Area's Equatorial Sativa was very nice and got us energized, as did Amnesia's Quazar and Barney's Grinspoon.

I loved Amnesia's Quasar (17e/g mid-july). It was still energetic, but a much heavier stone that the Equatorial for me. Here a picture:

its funny how in june 2008 amnesia listed Panama Gold E12 per g and E54 for 5g as 'orgainic pure sativa from amnesia seeds'. http://www.black-arts.org/~reatta/Menus ... Spliff.jpg
one year later Quasar comes out and they hype the hell out of it. its E5 more expensive at E17 per g, fuck knows how much for 5g.is it worth it? dunno but i will still try it on the next trip!

Gonna stick my oar in again here, i have spent a fair bit on trying this over my last couple of trips. Most people are saying that you need to smoke it first before anything else

Because this is the only way it will get you high, but i could smoke a cigarette first thing in the morning and that will get me a bit wrecked aswell.

the panama gold was good shit!

Quaze is €14/g at Greenplace at the moment too.
Or at least it was in may according to this menu pic

Have to say i am intrigued enough to try one of these strains.....

So one version or another is now available at Barneys, Amnesia, Grey Area, Bluebird and Green Place.....
