I think what ash is trying to say Master O is that with Ice-o-laters and Bubble hash you can pretty much be sure of quality. With Barneys bud its always a worry.

Not just barneys m8 there is a few of the big names that have suddenly become THE NEW GRASSHOPPERs with there shit weed.(IMO)
At the moment you have to dig deep to find some nice shit or just follow the locals

It will be okay i think. The same thing happened last year, around May time then i went back in june and it was better than ever. WE HOPE
but the Quasar is still gonna be crap i just cant see anything in it myself but others might disagree. I deffo will not buy it again even if it was the dogs.

The quaser Haze and Utopia haze was not the stuff thats all stems.
I think your talking about the Grey area one thats like that.
I have a pic of the quaser i will put up later

i too have bought many strains from barneys, and yes they are expensive, but i have never thought they shake there weed... at least the samples i have tried.

i also agree 17e is expensive for a gram of herb, but i bet you barneys wont be the only one to sell weed at this price.

saying that, i would probably try it just to say i did. lol

and kermit, were you happy with any product you purchased?? or was the entire weed scene in amsterdam at the moment in your eyes shit.

Sorry but this weed is very far from being shit, very far. Also, what a lazy review! Just calling something 'shit' and not bothering to say anything else speaks volumes. Here in the uk i make a living out of cultivation, i know what good weed is, this quasar haze is probably the best haze ive smoked, u can feel the trichome expansion heavily with every toke. I swear if grey area were selling this everyone would be rimming it hardcore. Get over the fact that barneys has nice weed for a change...

And this is not a review of the weed just a comment. I returned yesterday so i am giving current info (IMO) of the weed i have tried.
I travel to the Dam 5 times a year to sample the weed it has to offer and throughout the year quality varies (IMO). This has been the same for the last 12 years.
Its nothing to do with the strain its to do with it current quality (Or lack of). The weed is burning black and has a funny taste but just coz its QUASER @ 17e a gram and it got you stoned i am not going to bullshit other forum members into buying it.
At the end of the day The Quaser and Utopia Haze at barneys is currently of a poor batch that has a chemical taste and a poor burn as if it has not been correctly flushed. There is little if any taste to it (IMO)

No m8 there was a few nice ones but just could not get the mega heavy stone i was looking for. The Mexican Haze @ Dampkring 2 was okay but still burnt a bit funny and had me walking for a few hours . There Amnesia Skunk @ 7.50 a gram was a good batch but they kept running out.
The Greenplace had some nice gear apart from the AK47 and there will be some more nice1s in my trip report.
Not all bad just the top lines mainly that where a big let down.
