I'd love some input please...
Going to A'dam for 48 hours at the end of April. Been a couple of times before but in a large group. This time it's 3 of us intent on getting as ruined as possible.
Trying to get some plans together to maximise our time while getting our hands on the best buds possible.
I'd love some input on how to get the most out of our short time there please?...

Get up early, stay up late and smoke untill your eyes bleed.
Failing that make sure you dont get stuck in the coffeeshops for the entire time your there, see the city, visit the markets, visit the art gallerys and smoke a phat one in vondel park.
Oh and you must eat FEBO.
Peace.

FEBO is the ultimate in fast food, walk in, put your money in the slot of whatever it is your after, the screen unlocks, and you take your food.
Yep, a bike would move you around faster. The Reichsmuseum is worth a couple of hours. There is a zoo as well. There are small independent canal cruise people who will take you round on a little boat that has a table in the middle of the deck & you can take your own booze and smokes with you. Vondelpark is well worth a visit, loads of people head there at all times of day.
From the above, it's obvious i agree that your missing a LOT if you get bogged down into sitting in coffeeshops all day. Wander round, see the sights, stop for a quick smoke, go see something else, wander to the Jordaan and find a little neighbourhood bar & have a meal. Pack variety in and you'll feel like you got more from the trip. Sit in a coffeeshop blazing all day & it'll fly by before you know it

All you have to do is read through the forums and around the time you are going scout the best weeds from here, the weeds over their are changing all the time, But from my recent visits i would say LA Con, G-13, Diesel and Cheese, especially cheese!!! Grey Area have Chiezel at the moment which every1 seems to be going mad about (had a g of it and its a nice smoke)....burgers wrote:Affraid not. 27th - 29th.Pala wrote:Do those 48 hours include April 30th?
I'm looking to make sure we hit all the best coffee shops for the best weed. Got no time for travelling about, the trips about one thing only.
If you wanna get out ure nut, go get Terminated at Basjoe's or try the Butter Hash from Bushdoctor, they are expensive tho, if you want some quality cheap weed go Mellow Yellow for Blueberry, and to me White widow is always cheap but still is a nice smoke!!
Excuse me while I light my Spliff.....

Re: I'd love some input please...
the majority of my 19 trips have been for 48 hours.burgers wrote: I'd love some input on how to get the most out of our short time there please?...
been for 3 nights only about 5 times.
i think that 48 hours is actually a great length of time to go, as whilst it doesnt seem like long on paper, you'd be surprised how much time you can get to chill and smoke, and how many things you can see and do.
im presuming you are flying in really early (6am??), and flying out again late next day....
so,
my tip to maximise your trip is something that sounds like a bad idea, but its a tried and tested tehcnique that i almost always stick to. have a cat nap in the early afternoon. seriously.
by sleeping at about 2pm (especially on the day you arrive) it means that you can absolutly cane it in the morning, from arrival, through breakfast through lunch, untill conversation dries up and everyone is incabable of making decisions. sleep for 3 or 4 hours, and when you wake, you are able to cane it again all the way till the early hours.
if we didnt have that 'siesta', we would probably be asleep for good at about 7pm.
also a big tip that we found is important is eating properly. by that i mean eat your 2 or 3 a day meals in a resturant, not just bar snacks or crisps form the newsagents. doing this means you have a complete change of scenery, and change of situation, thus breaking up the day and giving you new boosts of smoking stamina.

I usually never take a nap, but last time was a pretty stressful lead up coupled with 14 hours of flying time. I grabbed some Cheese smoked a big fatty in the park, went back to the apartment and slept real nice. Woke up feeling good and ready to hit up a concert at Paradiso. We stayed up until 4:00 taking pix of the city in the early morn. Of course our next morning was shot, but WTF. Just depends I guess.
