Bulldog Hotel, always look at going elsewere but never do . Best location for the money for me and never more than a several min walk from wherever I end the night.

Rented a duplex in Weesperzijde, just outside the Centrum - apparently close to the Metro, which I've never ridden before. Should be an interesting experience for the stoned traveler, lol.

I am booked at Paul's apartment 'A' for the month. It's not right in the centrum but, also not really that far out...at the north end of Houtmankade, about a 10 minute bus ride from CS. Looks nice enough in the pictures.

For the first night I'll be at the Mallemoolen Hotel on the RLD for 65 euros, Love this little hotel, room 1 if you travel solo or room 2 for the triple room. Only one flight of stairs to climb and the shared facilities are right on your doorstep. Smoking is encouraged with ash trays provided but it is only a 1 star basic room. However both these rooms overlook Warmeostraat. Great for people watching late into the night with the window open and the radiator on if its a little chilly. Free breakfast too. Stayed here a few times over the last few years. No wireless.

Managed to get booked in at Keizersgracht Apartments for my last 2 nights for 100 euros. Never stayed here but figured its quite central for walking to Rookies and Katsu areas and on the way back I can pop "home" if needed on the walk over to Basjos, Hunters and Nes areas ect. Just realised that Barney's Lounge, Rookies, Dolphiins etc are right on my doorstep.. Nice
