Approximately how long is the walk to Mellow Yellow from the Hill Street Blues/Greenhouse Effect area?

It looks pretty far on the map, but wondering a round about estimate timewise.

Yikes!

I'm guessing that'll be a one tripper. MY is 3rd on my list of must visits, right behind Grey Area & Dampkring and wanted to know what kind've walk I'm facing.

Thanks Kermit.

Once you get to Dampkring you are half way there. Just hit MY after Dampkring. (10-15 mins. away) :) :)

That actually sounds like the perfect crawl, thanks.

The only reason I wanted to hit up MY was for the 4g Blueberry special and some SSH & Bubblegum Haze so I'll just stock up on everything and keep it moving.

This is actually what I originally wanted to do but have read alot of reviews stating that it's hard sometimes to find a place to lock it up safely.

Just random reviews I found when I Google'd "Amsterdam Bike Rentals".

It made it sound as if it could be a chore to lock up in certain parts of the city.

I think I'll do it for a day though. Really wanna pick up a few grams and bike through the outer portions of the city, visit the countryside and do some baked biking and picture taking.

The street opposite Mellow Yellow (behind the roadworks) has loads of bikes chained up,

Can't say I've ever really had a problem locking the bike up.

Ditto, bikes are one of the best ways to see amsterdam.

take tram 16 or 24, they stop right in front of MY, takes you 5min to get there by tram, you can take it from Centraal, or even from Madame Tussauds (Dam)
