paper cut in the eye

Post by CHELSEA_SMOKERS_SOCIETY »

went out saturday night.... got blind drunk, and ended up nearly getting blinded.

a mate flicked a flyer at me, and being quite pissed i didnt react and took it straight in the eye. hurt like fuck at the time, but within 20mins i was fine again and blotted it all out with alcohol. have no memeory of the rest of the night, and i when i woke up in the living room, fully dressed... the pain was unbelievable....

was convinced to go to A&E by muy mum and girlfriend, where i was yesterday, and today i have to go to an eye hospital in windsor. the eye is open again today at least, still stinging like fuck, its still blurry and looks like a bath bomb more than an eye ball, but at least its on the mend.

just thought id share that with y'all

I hope your eye gets better soon, CSS and that there is no permanent damage to it! Paper cuts are painful enough but I cant imagine the pain when it's on your eyeball. OUCH! Peace.

Ive cut my eyeball a few times over the last few years and the pain is so irritating, cant close your eye because your eyelid hurts your eye, cant keep it open because the air hurts, when i cut mine, like you CSS i went slepp and woke up around 2am in what i can only describe as unbearable pain, went down the local a&e and sat their all night!!! Had to put some kind of eye paste on my eye for a week or so, Hope your eye gets better soon mate ;-) ;-)
Excuse me while I light my Spliff.....

Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!

My eyes are watering even now after reading all this....

I can take abuse to most parts of my anatomy, but my eyes... no way.

I'm not particularly squeamish either, but even when watching special effect-laden horror films (Saw2 springs to mind), I just can't bear to watch when they start messing with peoples' eyes...

Ouch. My sympathies, fella...
