Film Theatres

Does anyone know of any film theatrs/Cinemas, that have shows in english? I know this is a bit anti-social, goin to amsterdam and goin to the cinema, but i think ill prob get bored sittin in coffee shops tokin all day, and i love tokin then goin to the cinema, so mite give it a go if anyone has any info???

Not sure but i think the films are in english (Or original language) with subtitles.
I also remember one being on the leidseplein and one being around the Rembrandtplein. Not been myself but did plan on going many years back,
As with all plans for the Dam it went up in smoke
Some1 will be able to confirm this as it was a while back so they might have gone now.

Yes m8 smoke where you like outside especially in the parks. I have never had any probs even with cops stood right by me.
Try going down to the Albert Cuypmarkt where you will find Katsu (Good shop IMO) and round the corner is my favourite The Sarphatipark.
The Vondelpark was having a bit of a re-fit last trip so dont know if or when its finished but still worth a visit.

Cheers, i think i mite try tokin outside more cos i heard u cant smoke tobacco inside coffee shops, and it will funky enough changin from shitty weed we get in N.Ireland to stronger Dam weed, without being allowed to mix baccy with it!!! Its goona be my first time and i have plans to start of slowly, but i can see myself bein like a kid in a sweetshop when i get there, i want... i want... next thing poor joe is layin on the floor sick cos he ate too many sweets...... or i just monged on the floor from some fine weed!!!

Dont beleive all you hear m8. I smoked Tobacco/weed spliffs in every shop i went in last trip. Just keep the packets and waste from the tobacco out of sight was what i was told.

There is only De Baarsjes that i know of and i was told not to outside the train station once.
But never had a problem outside or even at the airport (OUTSIDE).

My bro went to the cinema just round from the Rembrandtsplien(sp) on Reguliers Baeestraat. He saw oceans 13 the night of its public release. It was in English with dutch subs.
He doesn't toke though. I was happy to get rid off his Alchohol consuming ass for a few hours. Besides, Rockery III is just round the corner!!

Must have a look, i dont know how our trip is gonna go with a few lads prefering to get drunk rather than toke! I can see it now, the tokers chillin and lettin the alcho's do their thing, and the alcho's wreckin our head tryin to drag us to the pub "disturbin the peace"

Where are some good places to light up outdoors that are relatively safe & discrete that you would recommend, aside from Vondelpark?

I heard Dam Square is also another place to commonly see smokers.

To be honest I never smoke out in public, the way I look at it is there's plenty of coffeeshops where you can do so without any worries, Dam Square's a bit too busy.

I wanna try all the diff types/strengths of weed, but im know i wont be able to handle this tokin pure weed reefers, so im gonna discretely mix it 50/50 with baccy, would this be noticable when tokin, or would anyone complain in a coffee shop if they saw me do this?

I know there is the option of vaporisers, but im goin to dam to toke reefers! I have a Vapostar at home which im sure some of u guys are familiar with:
