I just gotta know, did you do any of the coffeeshops on your first visit?? I think Mellow Yellow, and the original Bulldog (and others??) were around back then (1976 by my math), If you did hit them I must know what the scene was like back then...

Denomoluos - Sadly to say i dont remember going to any specific coffee shops when i was there in 76. There didnt seem to be a coffeee shop scene, like there is now.
I do have great memories of The Melkweg and The Paradiso. Do these clubs still have a hash counter ? I bought some fantastic Citral hash in one of them.
For 3 weeks I stayed on a houseboat, that had flees - and a female dealer with some nice Blonde Leb.
I was a bit green back then - i bought a gram of " Speed " from a dealer in Vondel park lol ! .. i was only 17 though.
I am really looking 4ward to going back in June to spend my 50th birthday there !
