Great site

Post by barksducks »

Hello all, first post. Learning a lot by lurking, but have some specific questions.

First off, I'm a total entry-level pothead. I smoked in university and because I had problems with anxiety when I was a kid, I always had terrible experiences and threw up, got freaked, etc. Have no idea what I was smoking. I know, it's totally embarassing, but for almost fifteen years, I didn't touch the stuff.

BUT. I'm a grown-up now, and turning back on to it. I don't like to get blind baked, but I'm developing a taste for stronger stuff and am learning.

Okay, on to the specifics. I'm off to the Dam tomorrow for a few days, and from what I read on the boards, I'm going to drop into Grey Area (the only place I've ever been in 'Dam in fact) Amnesia, one of the Dampkrings, and Greenhouse. Are there any other must-tries?

And I'm looking for two kinds of bud. I have insomnia from time to time and have found various strains of indica useful. Can you recommend the best bud for insomnia and where to get it?

And how about the best bud for a mid-level mind-blowing high? I don't want to be crawling on my belly all night, but I'd like to experience something more intense.

Also, I live in France (lucky me) and want to bring a stash home. I'm going to be travelling by train to Paris and then on to my home in the south. How careful do I have to be on the train?

Finally, and sorry to ask a totally newbie question, what is the difference in high between hash and pot?

Thanks for the welcome.
