Just wanted to give congratulations to the Netherlands baseball team for their victory over the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic!

With all the pros coming out of DR it was quite an upset. I didn't even know the dutch played baseball.

Yeah, this will be hardly noticed in the Netherlands, but bitterly remembered in the DR.

An unlikely event, for sure. (Kinda like the Yanks defeating the Russians at Lake Placid. Most Yanks could care less about hockey, but for the Russians it was a passion.)

That's the beauty of sports, David sometimes does defeat Goliath.
