Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

Hi Folks,

Have been lurking here on the forum for about a month, just reading and trying to take some of it in.

Anyway, am travelling to Amsterdam next week and then onward for a couple of gigs, have been there a few times before so know my way round etc.

However, have really never indulged in the local culture, have smoked a little bit at home but very rarely. Mostly weed but through friends so have little or no idea what it was. But I thought this time I would go and get some supplies.

What I guess I'm trying to ask is for some recommendations for where to go. Like I say, am a total novice at this, I don't want to get totally monged off my face and not be able to move , just something that will chill me out and give me a bit of a giggle. Any advice would be much appreciated, and sorry if I'm being a daft noob Thanks in advance...

I could reccomend all day long but TBH smoke what you please if it starts to cane you just put it down for a bit. As i daily smoke though The Amnesia Skunk was good last time (Dampkring II @ E7.50). I found it to be very functional but still a nice smoke and stone. Also in the past Blueberry from MY or 420 has been another fav easy smoke to chill with.

Mellow Yellow is a great place to chill along with 420!!! Plus both have very good selction of weed, Homegrown Fantasy is also another good shop, especially their cheese....

Having done a bit more reading on here last night, I was pretty much thinking of just heading for Mellow Yellow and seeing what happens so it's good to have that confirmed.

Yeh! cant go wrong with MY although you will have to step outside for a spliff if you use tobacco. But still a great CS!
