taking smoke home
im coming over on the ferry next week and want to bring some smoke home with me, is there much chance of getting caught? is it better to keep it in my backpack with me or put in my overnight bag that will go in the luggage compartment on the caoch? any advice people?

As other people will no doubt verify, tha safest way to get home is the old dvd case sent by priority mail, it is a good chance it will get through. I dont know about how security is on the ferries but I have been sucsessful bringing stuff home on every trip but that was on a plane. If you do, bring less than 10grams as i hear thats the amount HM customs will do you for, I could be wrong though. And if you decide to post it, send it on your first day, it might be there for when you get back.
Enjoy your trip and smoke a massive bowl for me. I miss Amsterdam too much atm.

I got searched both french and english sides of the ferry when i was last using it.
In fact when i got the bus to amsterdam from london victoria, the bus got searched both sides, when the driver showed the english side the french paper work saying it had already been searched their response was apprently ' that dont mean fuck all over here.'
Caution is advised when using the ferry.
