Come back in a year or two. I know that's not what you want to hear.

Any coffeeshop that wants to keep its license/business will card you.

Friends were telling me that it would be possible to buy at the coffeeshop and take it elsewhere---that all bullshit?---Also I somewhat doubt that there's no where that wont look the otherway

No I.D no service, the views on this are some what strong in this forum. Dont ruin it and get the coffeeshops shut down. Come back in a couple of years. Amsterdam is an adults only playground.

Try one of the street sellers - 'Pssst pssst - Eees, treeps, hash, speeed'. At least they'll just rip you off. Anywhere decent is going to get angry and throw you out on your ear.
Unlike the off licenses of this green and pleasant land, the Dutch respect the rules. Visitors probably should too.
