at 16 you can drive scooter, but to drive a car you have to be 18 (ok, with 17 you can drive if your parents are sitting next to you....)

I don't think that they reopened, I think the point they were getting to was a place that is closed will not card you. A closed shop also isn't risking their license.

yeh, coffee shops can lose there lisence for that, they will id you (they Id me and im 21) as it says on one coffee shop You heard what it said, dont do it! wait till your older and dont ruin it for the rest of us!

will my American drivers license count as an ID, or would i be safer off slipping our passports into a hidden pocket to use? i dont wanna be turned away anywhere.

my license was always good enough but i think these days its best to at least have a copy of ur passport just in case, carrying it around is kinda risky for us stoners, IMO, peace
