The "Where to find the best HAZE"-Thread

Post by sh@dy »

As easy as this:
I find it very hard to find good hazes in and around Amsterdam, since many shops like to use the name, but often it doestn taste or feel like a haze does and since there are soooooo many haze-strains available, I would like to keep this thread updated with the latest reports about a Haze you bought, where you bought it, the price, the effect, smell etc. etc.....of course people who can get their haze somewhere else (MOMs or a medical shop) are welcome to post as well.
I will start:
Super Silver Haze from Mellow Yellow 10€: very sweet in taste, strong uplifting high
Nevilles Haze from Mellow Yellow 11€: strong hazy taste, you really have to like the haze-taste to smoke this as the taste is really penetrating, the high is what I would expect from one of the first haze-crosses (or am I wrong on this one?), some of the strongest highs I ever had
S5 Haze from Mellow Yellow 13€(50€ for 5g): the effect is almost as strong as the Nevilles, but it tastes sweet, combines the SSH and the Nevilles in one strain
Mexican Haze from Dampkring 13€: its as it is described on the menu, very clear high, a real good crossing, light sweet in taste, the best haze for day-time
Oceans Twelve Haze from Dampkring 11€: I would describe the taste as sweet and sour or sweet and spicy (is this even possible? :D), like the MExican haze, a clear high, best for flying around ;)
Blueberry Haze from Noon 10€: my favourite haze so far when it comes to the taste, a real sweet blueberry taste, strong high, nothing for beginners ;)

thats as far as I go now, will add some more later.....hope you guys(and haze-hunters) join the idea :)

the SSH has been on the menu for years now, so I suppose yes, as the other 2 are relative new to the menu, I cant make a clear statement about them, but even if they change, you will always find some of the best hazes at MY

Best:
Super silver haze from mellow yellow, that stuff was ace! I had that on my first day and I got wrecked, but I had it on the day before the last and it got me high (very quickly), It had a nice taste to it as well. I think it cost me about 7.50 euros (but i did get 5g of blueberry at the same time and i think the mark up for super silver was @ 9.50 euros)

Awful:
Purple haze from bulldog, wouldnt touch that again with a barge pole. The taste was off and the im still waiting for the effect (I smoked it in 2008).
If your sitting here, whos driving the bus?

haha, I really had to laugh as I imagined someone sitting in a car, driving to work and suddenly the effect of a smoke from a year ago hits you....that has to be an eye-catcher :D

so, I just wanted to add some strains that you should NOT buy:
The Hazes from Greenhouse, between 10-14€, nothing there was worth the price, the Arjans Ultra Haze 1 and 2 both felt like a usual hybrid, nothing hazy, the Strawberry haze has a very light uplifting high, its more a Sativa than a Haze (LOL?)....overpriced!

haze fan here - and since I'll be the A-dam shortly, looking for a more recent review of hazes.

I've only smoked Greenhouse haze - in prerolls. Thought they were good.

Anything in and around Haarlemmerstraat that's recommended?

Best hazes from my jan 09 trip:
Hunters Bar:
Amnesia Haze E13 per g – tasted like skunky cooking apples. Amazing flavour. Intense high.
Tweede Kamer:
G13xAmnesia E13 per g – coughed like first timer on this. Not best taste but powerful high. Get G13 haze from Braneys (also E13)for a more alround haze or get paranoid .
Mexican Haze E13 per g: super uppy haze floting high.

I will add some NOT TO BUY too as the other ones i like have been mentioned.
Quazar Haze @ Barneys E18    Gives a bad name to Hazes (IMO)
Utopia Haze@ Barneys E15    after reading about it i was expecting to be flying. But NO i wasnt! (SOZ to the lovers of this but it just did not do nothing for me.)
The reason there is no taste description is because there was none TBH and both where missing that unique Haze smell and taste. Very poor.
Enjoy :D
