Theres that much tagging on the walls now its a struggle to make any of it out! its a pitty cos my late friend has got a tag on there somewhere,Gota love HSB thou! there 4 gram deals for 20 euros on the polm is a sure fire winner,There HSB special weed also! even the Tea & Coffee is fair! 1.40 compaired with 2.50 over the road at Lost In Amsterdam .

Went here last week, horrible looking C.S. , filthy and disgusting .
Was approached 3 times to be told that if i was smoking mixed i needed to go downstairs ( i was smoking pure ).
3 females running the shop, the music was beyond horrible, from MandM to Robbie Williams all at levels that were beyond ignorable.
The Amnesia and Super Silver Haze ( 13 eu p.g. ) were both excellent, great day time smoke as long as you were not in there .

Not wanting to piss on anyones batteries but that spanish or italian woman there is a f-ing pain in the arse like,Its the same s**t from her every year! ie hounding people about daft little things,Tobbaco packets on the table when people are only rolling a few for the road after buying weed & drinks,Really what an ignorant cretin of a woman like! the couple of english woman that work there are ok thou ,But that latin b**ch needs to wisen her ass up! shes always ignoring people when they want a drink by pretending to clean up or adjusting the volume on her s**t CD is another favourite ive noticed! + hovering with her tray literaly watching you drinking & finishing really gets my goat,Say thanks & if your lucky you will be blanked! or if your really unlucky she will start saying s**t in christ knows what lingo or rolling her eyes,Even something as innocent as taking an ashtray from the counter you will run the risk of this bitch busting your b**ls .

Tried their Zero Zero hash, €4.50 per gram.

I was tempted because I recently smoked some Zero Zero from Eerste Hulp that was very good (€7).

Anyway, no comparison. The Hill Street stuff was not redeeming at all. I would even go so far as to say it was bad, because if you don't enjoy your smoke then what's the point eh?

I was in here last year and they were the first CS to get fined for apparently allowing people to smoke tobacco upstairs, which is why the woman is a freaking pain in the arse about it.

But yeah, the hashes are cheap and of lowish quality compared to most, but they're cheap - so what ya expect?

Great place to chill if downstairs, upstairs is a bit of a pain as above but i love this CS. Feels like it hasn't lost alot of the atmosphere that most have recently.

The Hill street special is a good indica at a good price, got me quite stoned.

I love HSB. Great decor, good electronic music and drinks that are cheaper than in most places nearby. The hot chocolate I tried was epic.
Haven't really sampled much of their weed selection as we were fairly heavily tripping from truffles while in there. I did have one of their pre-rolled haze joints while there which was a nice smoke, although not very strong. It helped in chilling us out after a friend passed out for a few seconds while standing up!
Too low blood sugar due to truffles, weed and no food I guess. Shady times.

Hillstreet special is an absolute steal at 10E for 1.2g

I was dissapointed this time in HSB, i love the CS but their weed is slipping.

My mate bought 20g of afghani for 60eur and 20g of zero-zero for roughly the same price.

Both were extremely mediocre tbh, the afghani seemed almost like soap bar!
Not worth it.

Bud also seemed rough and not really cured, dissapointed. Their cakes and hot chocolates however are uber awesome as always.

At that price that Afghan was poor border hash, I noticed you bought some from GA which is what 4 times as expensive, did you compare the 2?

:D Hill Street Blues is, from my point of view, by far the best coffeeshop in amsterdam. It was the fifth coffeeshop that i visited and believe me i was in there for the rest of my holidays. Relaxing atmoshere....nice people...nice view of the canal infront....excellent weed!!!!!!!......comfortable chairs.....reasonable prices....one of the few places that i was treated like a respectful customer by the personel in amsterdam!! I dont think there is something else needed! Hill Street Blues is the best choise. I had the best time.
