moving to amsterdam
yo everyone, i am planning on moving to amsterdam for about 6 months but although i love sitting in & chillin in the coffee shops i dont think i will be able to afford coffee shop prices all the time so do u think i will be able to buy an OZ or that at a more wholesale or discout price because i know coffeeshops can only sell a max of 5g.

You should be able to get cheaper deals (a better quality weed) through a private dealer.urbangorilla wrote:yo everyone, i am planning on moving to amsterdam for about 6 months but although i love sitting in & chillin in the coffee shops i dont think i will be able to afford coffee shop prices all the time so do u think i will be able to buy an OZ or that at a more wholesale or discout price because i know coffeeshops can only sell a max of 5g.
Coffeeshops can only sell 5g per day per person according to the law.
However, most coffeeshops will happily sell you a lot more than just 5 grams. My advice, find a CS you want to buy the gear from, and then take their base price and see what they'll give you on larger amounts.
One word of advice, do not ask for an ounce in The Netherlands, they are and always have been metric, they don't know what an ounce is, but they thought it was a cool word and have appropriated it to mean 100g, just so you're aware.

you will meet a private dealer for sure if you start talking with some locals, its not really hard, even we who dont live in the netherlands, just near to it, have one
@Boner:
if you find the right person you dont need a grower, the dutch dealers of the old school will not make as much profit from it as in other countries...e.g. our private dealer makes around 50c on each gram, which isnt much.

That's very good. I have a room only in oudenzijdsvoorburgwal and my friend Ray has a room in Leidseplein. We both pay €600/month. Some other frineds have a 1 room apartment on the Herengracht which costs them €1300 per month. Only thing I will say is if you are gping to live in Westerpark, you will need a bike or you'll be doing a lot of walking after the trams stopurbangorilla wrote:ive been checking out some appartments & i have seen one i think is decent & is near the city centre but it is £1000 a month for a 3 bedroom! is this an ok price? its in westerpark

No point in taking a mountain bike to Amsterdam, it'll be a bigger target for the thieves and there are no mountains in Amsterdam.urbangorilla wrote:thanks man, i think thats the 1 i will go for then.
