Up Niewmarkret near Coffeeshop Ben, there's a belgian beer pub - small - but has like 50 different beers. Don't miss it, called 'Gollem'.
Another (my favourite bar) is In De Wildeman http://www.indewildeman.nl/indexe.html
the best place for a good beer by fare!! 8)

We also enjoy seeing sports history whenever we travel. My wife and I are both avid Olympic fans, so we'll check out the stadium too.

Put me down for going to Keukenhof.

My buddies and I are tentatively planning going on 4/18 or 4/19, most likely 4/19. Wouldn't be opposed to going with a bigger group though.

As far as museums go, I was hoping to hit the Amsterdam Historical Museum. It has a nice mix of things to look at, and the hall with all the gigantic paintings is good w/ a nice buzz. I've been here before, but my friends have not, so we hope to go during our trip.

The one other spot someone mentioned that I've never been to, but it sounds very interesting is Muiderslot Castle. I'd like to go there, and I'd probably be more likely to get there if I had a group of people to follow.

My personal favorite touristy thing to do in Amsterdam is climb the Westerkerk bell tower. The view up there is great. When I last did it in Sept 07 it cost something like 7,50 Euro. You can explore the churches around town too, if you are in to for something free.
You can not
overdose on THC...

I've tried...

ann frank house costs a bundle to get in (about 20e) and they aint got much in there iver. I know it cool to see it once, but hey aint got the original furni in there so you dont get a sense of what the living conditions where like. its just bare rooms with photos everywhere. They also have closed the famous attic, which they hide in and ann looks out the window to see the famous tree; which is in her diary. It was a experience I do not regret, but im disapointed they aint opened the attic up. The book case thing was so bait. If you get any pictures you will see what I mean.
I dont want to sound off about this historical landmark, but it was disappointing. I did ask what happened to the furni and they said that they auctioned it off, which I will not comment about! :x

The rembrant art gallery is a cool place to go. Fairly cheap to get in and if you take your time, it will take you a couple of hours to look through. 8)

Oude De Kirk (Church in the Red Light District), thats a beautyful, but in a bit of a funky place. :o

The sex museum had me in stitches (they have a vase made out of brass dick's, a butt which makes a farty sound and blow air in you face as you go up the stairs and they have their own flasher. I think it cost around 2-3e to get in and was a right old laugh (very corny).

Heineken was closed when i was there, but i have heard it is good. :?:

Cannabis collage is cool, good experience and very educational. 8)
If your sitting here, whos driving the bus?

You do know that Anne Frank House isn't Anne Franks House?

And it's not in the attic, it was the achterhuis - or back house, it was a seperate building out the back, that bare room is the room she was in during the writing of the diary.
