Definitely joints with or w/o tobacco. Had my first bong-hit in many years at the Grey Area some months ago - was instantly reminded of why I don't do bongs anymore...
To me the bong is kind of a filthy smoking device, which hits you hard, but doesn't really allow you to enjoy the smoke, as you would with a joint. Back home we used to call it the weed-smoker's needle, but I guess my mates and I are a bit elitist that way
Ultimately, partake in the sacrament the way you want and enjoy it for what it is - a gift from nature/[insert preferred higher power] to be loved and treasured!
