Hostel Meetingpoint
Hostel meeting point located in the Centrum next door too Consious Dreams was by far the best hostel i have stayed in. No cerfew and breakfast for 2.50e has a fair sized smokiong room that overlooks the canal at 1am they shut the smoking room and everyone is allowed to smoke in the bar, the best hostel by far, very frendly staff and a whole mix of people from everywhere all willing to shere a joint and a story 10/10
"Spark this sucker up, we get chineese eyes!"
I 2nd what C and C says. Also, I love their banana juice - it's all about using their cheap internet, smoking a J whilst sipping on banana juice! You're most guaranteed to meet some cool people there, and it's positioned 2 minutes away from 420 coffeeshop - bonus!
I doubt its fully booked in october man, I just turn up during midweek and there's always been loads of beds. It does tend to fill up over the weekend though.

Ive stayed at Hotel Abba before and it was a nice hotel, had no problems and even had a balcony, as cheap as a hostel aswell, but its fully booked for 4/20 so its looks like the MeetingPoint for meDobern wrote:I'll have to try emailing them to see what the deal is, would prefer to stay here, but also just seen the Hotel Abba, which also looks quite appealing.

You can bet your ass 420 is smoke friendly, including tobacco. It is my favorite of all hostels I have stayed at in Amsterdam, and that was 3, lol, but after finding this after my 3rd trip I never went anywhere else again, in fact I only just moved out of there into my flat. Can't recommend the place enough, and I have met so many really cool people there, cheech, lampshade just two of many

OK I just booked 4 nights for the middle of this month. Can anyone tell me what the whole bathroom scene is like? Primarily, I'd like to know if it's easy to get a hold of a shower and toilet at all times. Or is there a line for this in the morning hours? This is my first stay in a hostel and I'd like to be prepared for something like that.
Also, is this place curfew-free or not? The website says it is but there's a review on Tripadvisor from last year that points to the contrary.
