Thurs 25th June
Thursday evening was a very nice evening. I finished work at 5:45pm and drove back to the hotel at Lohausen, it took 9 mins. After the long journey I was dying for a spliff, and by 6.30pm I had got around to getting it rolled. Now where to smoke it. First choice was out of the hotel window. It is a non-smoking hotel, and so lovely, I didn't want to smoke indoors, so I didn't, while deciding what to do I was replying to some topics on the forum. I looked at the time 8:15, damn I got to be online at 10pm for a chat, then I'm going to shady's just after 11pm. I need to hurry to have this Cheese Haze spliff. There is no option, I'm going to take a walk to the lovely area I found yesterday. It was a 45min walk back last time, so this mean't I had about half an hour there to smoke the spliff and chill. I wasn't entirely sure I'd make it there that quickly though, so i decided to go with my feelings. Rather than going right out of the hotel and left at the end of the road, I went left and then right at the end of the road. I was running parralel to the original route I walked, but was closer to the side I needed to be. I walked along the road taking in the lovely scenery. The houses here in the Lohausen area are very diverse. No two houses appear to be the same. It is very beautiful, but I can't understand why all the areas of green and trees are fenced in. In England, we have lots of green areas, cut through areas of trees etc, but here they are all locked away behind fences. I can't understand why...
After 20mins walking I come to a junction, and I'm delighted, this took me over half an hour to get to walking along the other road, i had taken a shortcut

Listening to feelings 1

I continued walking along the route, past the house with the quick repairs... They had demolished a house from the end of a terrace and had Breeze blocked the end wall of the house that was still standing, it looked rather amusing. Unfortunately I left my camera in Amsterdam, and it really was unfortunate, because within a few minutes I was standinng looking out on some of the most beautiful countryside, and a fantastic beggining sunset. It was 9pm as I hit the 'beach'. Really wasn't a beach as it is just a bit of sand and shingle on an estuary, but it was good enough. There were rocks that outcropped into the seaand I made my way very carefully to the furthest point I could, sitting with my toes dipping in the water. I sparked up the Cheese Haze and let the haze flood over me, at the same time appreciating the beauty of all that was around me. Today had been a very good day, now the evening was fantastic too. I just sat there listening to the water lapping gently against the rocks, as big container ships trundled past on the estuary, in between jet skis and canoeists. I was experiencing my own little piece of heaven. A quick glance at the clock revealed 9.30pm, damn only 30 mins to get back to the hotel, My feelings were telling me to stay a longer, but I overrode them. I purposefully stood up and set off on my journey. I was grinning from ear to ear feeling amazingly happy. As I was walking back, everyone I passed caught my eye and smiled at me and most offered a greeting, Guten Abend generally. Each contact made me soar even higher. I wasn't walking on the planet, I was the planet. I was every tree and blade of grass, every fly and grasshoper, I was everywhere and everything. As I was walking along the top part of the ridge, just about to turn off the route, I turned to look at the sunset, the suns rays spread out in varying shades of red and yellow, mingling with the sparse wispy clouds. A lady went past on a bike with a dog running behind her, and turned and smiled at me after she had passed me. My feelings of peace and happiness seemed to be effecting others around me
I continued walking as quickly as I could, all the while keeping thoughts out of my head and just enjoying the sights sounds and smells that abound. I made it back to the hotel with 5 mins to spare. I hadn't meditated, but I really didn't think I needed to after the adventure, I was flying. I sat there for 37mins wondering where the person was, only to realise eventually that 10pm in England is 11pm here

What an idiot. feelings 2, thoughts 0.
11pm rolled around and my chatting had begun. I was just getting ready to leave, when I had the feeling that I shouldn't go to Shady's. Again I ignored it and I headed off at 23.15 in an attempt to get there before it was too late. I smoked Bas Special (indica) i had rolled in Basjoe on Monday, as I drove along the dark, almost deserted Motorways to Shady's. I had to smoke the indica, because driving on a haze is a recipe for disaster. Last time I went to Shady's I smoked a Cheese haze spliff before leaving, and went around and around the motorways, passing his house no less than 8 times and using 3 different motorways numberous times each in an attempt to actually get the turning I was aiming for. This time no such issue, except I was starting to get far too stoned to drive, luckily I can chill at shady's to recover. I arrived just after 23:45 to find a note on shady's door, he had gone with his Girlfriend to the hospital, they hoped to be back shortly. I waited until 00:20, then decided to go home. feelings 3 thoughts 0.
Eventually got back at 00:50, and straight back on the net chatting again. I had the most wonderful day from start to finish. Even the bits that went 'wrong' were wonderful experiences, a real day in Heaven, that was ended chatting with just the right person to end the day with. Eventually got to bed at 3.30am, and up for work at 7am. I've had hardly any sleep this week, so i'll probably need all weekend to recover, but what a day. What an experience.. and remember the lesson I learned this day...
